“ago *** please read all the 1 star reviews before buying from this gorilla style sale marketing company as many others have the exact same issues as me . save yours the headache. Lying, horrible customer service …. You are better off. Read the 1 star reviews there are lots. Once they have your money it’s done. I called to ask about my order and was told on the phone that they were delivered and called me a liar. Called the shipping company and they never picked up the tires but have an order to fulfill. Canceled the ordered. Was a nightmare as how I was treated from day one. Only time I heard anything or been in contact was after a google review. I was told I was issued a refund that’s it. Only a partial refund was issued. And now out for almost $400 for dealing with this company. If anyone is willing enough to buy from them get a lawyer to read everything terms and policy’s carefully. I hope you enjoy the $400 dollars and continue to do this to numerous customers like the reviews reflect. The tires I purchased and cancelled were never even in the same area code or even on my possession. The owner of this company should be proud how his company is run. Have a good day. ***** Here is a couple of examples for the one star reviews they are trying to hide. Below was a professional review I wrote and since updated the review to reflect my experience and address them as I was treated and experienced. I addressed my concerns and in one ear out the other. I have been in the automotive industry for 20 years and never once charged a return fee ever. If it was a special order part or electronic component i tell customers several times no return do you still want to order it? They are always aware.I only tried to order from them as I didn’t want to go to buffalo and get hit with duties. Toyo open country’s have a recall and having issues with them and hankook had a fire at there warehouse and stock for the tires and size I wanted were limited or unavailable. What frustrated me most was that I was advised a refund had been issued, only to later discover that it was a partial refund with approximately $400 withheld. At no point during my communications was I advised that any restocking fee, penalty, or deduction would be applied. Had this been clearly disclosed, I would have made different decisions regarding the order.”

“I ordered a wheel/tire package with tpms sensors and lug nuts. It took over 6 weeks to get the last two wheels. Even though my truck info was included, and the rims were 6 lug, they sent me a pack of 20. They refused to do anything about it. Flat out refused. The tpms sensors (Max5) were suggested for my application and Brian said they would work fine. Well, they did not work. Kal Tire installed them but could not program them. Louie from CAP acted quite nice in emails, but refused to do anything to help. The worst experience ever with an online auto parts dealer. Thanks for nothing Capital Auto Parts.”

“I bought 4 brand new snow tires and 4 brand new steel rims and 4 tire sensors. When my garage went to install the tires on the rims my mechanic told me that 1 of the steel rim was bent and also he could not install the tire sensors. When I called Capital to tell them the problem about the rim and sensors they said if the tire was installed on the rim then they can't take it back and because my mechanic doesn't have the tool to install these sensors they said it's not my fault. So they won't let me return the bent rim and they won't let me return the sensors. So beware when going to deal with outfit. I will never ever buy from them again and will be telling my friends to stay away. Great people skills and great way to run a business.”

“Brian sold me wheels for my Nissan that he confirmed in writing that fit, but and they do not fit. He refused to return them saying no refunds once mounted, and told me to fit spacers instead. How can you trust a business that says one thing, but ends up being incorrect, and then refuses to take responsiblity for their error? I am stuck with a bill for $1800 for a product that was not as described to me.”

“Despite the item qualifying for free shipping, Capital Auto Parts request I pay for additional shipping charges despite the invoice saying free shipping. After disputing this and asking for my money back, I was never able to get in contact with anyone through phone or email. After a month of waiting for a response, I had to dispute the charges with my credit card provider. Be warned about the non existent customer service and the company scamming you for additional shipping charges. I will never be doing business with this Capital Auto Parts again.”

“Do not do buy anything from this company unless you know exactly what you want. I chose rims that were listed as fitting my vehicle using their website. They did not fit. When I contacted this company I was given a run around and never given a clear answer on if I could get a refund. This is not a good company. Avoid it unless you are sure on your parts.”

“The wheels are not strong, within a few months all wheels have bent, I have tried to have them professionally repaired but they are weak and cannot keep their original shape. Definitely spend money elsewhere, these are cheap and worthless.”

“Second time I've ordered from CAP. First time I ordered wrong tires. CAP had tires returned and exchanged/sent me new tires without any extra charge. This time I was told that tires I want were on backorder. Thought I would have to wait a while but only took an extra 10 days or so. Will definitely order from CAP again.”

“Screwed up delivery twice and still waiting for credit of returned tire after a month. Your question regarding time of delivery says it all. A month is not acceptable for a necessary item.”
