“As I work during the week I was unable to be in for the signed delivery . I paid additional costs for weekend delivery but but DPD failed to deliver and so the item was sent back to the supplier, During this 2 week period I made numerous attempts to contact Crossbow using their 2 telephone numbers and left messages. I also sent an email asking for a response but received nothing . Luckily I paid using PayPal and they stepped in to get my refund.”
“Fast service getting the items to you. But customer support with issues on the product is very much lacking. Can rarely get someone on the phone. Email support is worse. I wont be buying from them again”
“Hello, yes I got my new crossbow. It broke straight away without even firing an arrow. I have spoke to somebody in the shop and they have said for me to send them pictures of the problem. The main string is too short we eventually sfter a lot of pain & back problems caused by this i mansged yo get the main string attatched
I have five men work for me all big lads pulling big tolls of carpet round all day & not one of them could pull the string back far enough to load
The string is obviously a dud one but yhey fo not seem yo be available to discuss
I feel i have wasted £140 very disappointed”
“Crossbow arrived damaged, by suspect Royal Mail - unvan, ununiform.
Trading Standards 14-day letter to Oldham address arrived at Manchester Sorting Office, and, apparently remains .... somewhere to this day. Signed For Recorded - £5.60, put in claim, no reply or refund.
Could not contact by phone.
Damage is minor and could be rectified by a 10 Euros part.
So, the crossbow is unusable, safely; and would be dangerous, risk of injur, if used.”
In the interest of clarity and transparency:
This customer purchased a Steambow crossbow from us and reported that it was faulty on receipt. We responded immediately and offered a full resolution by providing a free returns label and clear instructions so the item could be safely returned for inspection.
This return was declined by the customer and he raised a chargeback instead. As the payment dispute is currently ongoing, we are unable to provide further support until the process has been formally concluded.
