“First notice of a delivery was 9:08 a.m. last Saturday morning. The message read “It’s dpd do have eircode.” Dpd should have researched eircode beforehand and written it on the parcel. As I was asleep when message arrived, I read it at 12:08 p.m. and sent my eircode. I received a phone call that night @ 8pm from a woman in Kilcrohane, about 20 kilometers from Durrus, where I live. She said she found a package adddressed to me on her doorstep. She said she would drop it to the grocery store in Durrus the next day. I had to walk more than a mile to get it. If the woman in Kilcrohane had not been honest or conscientious, I never would have received the package. Terrible communication and careless drivers.”

They don't answer the phone, the online chat is useless only give you an update using the tracking number, ring the depot won't answer, voice mail any callback. A joke, go with DHL next time and all the time...”

“A joke of a company despite the millions they make. I’d go into detail about my issue but it’s summarised by numerous users in other posts on this forum. What sort of a clown leaves electrical goods in the rain uncovered,? The real problem is you can’t deselect them as a courier if the company you order from is tied into them.”

“NEVER USE THIS COURIER SERVICE!
They took a photo of my parcel, a PCR test that was urgently needed, against a door, not my door, and said it was delivered.
A total con merchant, they won't trace the driver who delivered the parcel. I've used Hermes, Amazon, DHL who only take a photo of the delivered parcel with a person handling the item, not against any door.
The driver stole the test kit, no doubt.”
“Worst experience ever. Driver claimed my package couldn’t be delivered to my home as no one was home (despite a member of my family being home all day). When I amended my delivery to have my items delivered to a local pick up point (a Centra store) I was informed no one was in the shop all day! Absolutely ridiculous service. Took nearly over a week to get my items after being informed every day that my item was out for delivery and failed to be delivered for some ridiculous reason. Driver allowed no opportunity to leave a voicemail or to call back, had to email a supervisor to get my items. Never again.”
“Got notification from the company from whom I had ordered goods that they had been delivered. The DPD track and trace confirmed this but no goods had arrived at my address. I had been home all day but not call/knock etc from the driver as is usual with all other delivery companies . The goods have been delivered but not to where I am!
I spoke with DPD Ireland as the local office phone is never answered (- tried calling it 10 times and it rang out every time.) The person here agreed that the goods had been delivered but could not guarantee that it was to the correct address. They also could not contact the local depot even after 3 attempts by them.
When asked about next steps, they couldn't give me procedures by which I could follow apart from platitudes about being sorry. The advice was that I could not raise a ticket about the goods being missing and that I would have to contact the company from whom I ordered and that they would have to do it!!
I have contacted the company in question and they are now trying to sort the mess out.
Very disappointing and poor service as well as very poor customer service - not in any way solution focussed.”
“Package meant to be delivered on the 12th still not here on 17th and was told on the phone I'd have it on the 18th. Its now the 18th and I still don't have it”
“Received the email saying that order will be delivered on that day, spent the whole day waiting for the courier,delivery never arrived. Emailed to dpd find out what happened, no apologies offered from dpd, instead dpd explained that it was "pre-advised" email (of course it does not say anywhere that this email is "pre-advised"), such explanation sounds like an insult.”
“My package has been with dpd a few days now i went on 2 track were it was and said it was getting delivered sat between hours 6.15pm to 7.15pm I know straight away it was not going 2 b delivered at tht time was at home and guess wht no delivery 7.20pm get a txt ur package was delivered but nobody home my husband was home all day just incase it came and left our porch open so driver cld leave it there I saw the dpd driver in my est around 10.30am. Wht r they playing at awful services and lying about delivering parcel wen they didnt thts no way 2 run a business very annoyen and don't like how they handled it with saying nobody at home when there was shame on you this sldnt continue 2 happen I hope I get my package tuesday let's c wht happens dpd do a better job I'd give u a rating of 0”
“This is the worse delivery company out there. I don’t understand why businesses continue to give them business. They never deliver on time. They leave my items unattended at the door outside where anyone can take it or it gets wet. They have thrown items behind my gate and broke it. They have placed a package in my wheelie bin I left at the front for emptying. They have even thrown one deliver onto my balcony. They are ridiculous. I rescheduled a delivery for today as I wanted to be home to make sure it won’t get broke or wet and they never arrived. I am so frustrated with how poor the service is!”
“When this courier service was passed on to the wrong address they made no attempt to drive less than 5 minutes to my proper residence that I have moved to.
The courier driver on the phone did not even confirm the address to my gf and as such I brought a big bulky heavy monitor down five stories of stairs. Dpd does not care that I am suffering from post covid or that I’m injured. I have no option but to leave 1300 euro of technology downstairs unsafe and I was not offered any sort of solution but merely wait for another day. No apology not even a hint of regret on the dpd line from rich. In fact I was told I was being aggressive when I told him the dpd driver talked to my gf and said he was doing some local drop offs and would be back then.”
“What a waste of a company , got email to say my items would be delivered on a certain date waited in all day , nope nothing , phoned DPD was told it hadn’t gone through there system yet prob be delivered next day or day after , I told them I got email today it was going to be delivered on said date , she said no you get a text an hr before delivery to say it will be there , so I waited till next day , guess what at 12.30 I got an email to say wait fir it my item will be delivered between 10-11 to which this was at 12.30 , I rang dod was told it had been delivered, even tho I wasn’t there , got hone 30 mins later no sign of it , rang up explained all over again what had been said she said she will try sort it , I then got an email with a picture of a house to say it had been delivered to this house which is not mine house but house across the road , I then went to ask neighbour did it arrive there , nope not sign n nothing delivered as she had been there all day , got back into by email dpd was told mystery solved it had been left at house across the road , My own house , I emailed saying that was my house and it must certainly not there I then went to another neighbour to see if it had gone in there nope , there still saying it was delivered to my house or house across road they can’t decide which , at end of day I don’t have the item nor dues anyone I no either , terrible terrible service , I will have to get onto the company I ordered from as it was them thst picked this terrible postal company void this company hand delivery it yourself if you can”
