“I've been in Ireland two weeks and have already had three bad experiences with DPD. Two deliveries were delayed 1-2 days because DPD misrouted them. Today a delivery was not completed because "phone number needed to complete delivery." If you have the correct address including eircode, why do you need a phone number? And DPD has my phone number - it had earlier texted me a delivery time for the same package! Very disappointing.”

The absolute belligerent trainwrecks they have as employees there, Amy and Laura, are rude and refused to accept their companies fault and blamed both me and virgin media for their failures. They are rude, incompetent and should be shut down due to their horrendous "customer service"”
“Terrible. Terrible. Dane from DPD dumped expensive parcels on our doorstep fully on view for anyone to see.
Two parcels - one from Smyth's Toys and one from McGurk's Golf - total value €364.00 - just left on full view on a busy thoroughfare.
Told McGurk's and Smyth's "won't buy off you online again as long as you use DPD".
Wrote to DPD and "Kevin" in customer service told me "Sorry will tell the depot" - not a word since.
Don't use online resellers that use DPD!”
“Worst customer service experience in a long time. They made multiple errors with the delivery and promised to resolve on a certain date. Took the day off work to receive it - they were a no show, and returned to sender rather than deal with it. This was the week before Christmas and the package were presents for the kids. Had to re-order the whole thing but this time chose collection at the store. Never making the mistake of using DPD again.”
“The service by dpd North Kerry is totally appalling. I tried to phone the depot over a period of two hours and no one would answer the phone.Isaac was supposed to deliver a parcel and of course he didn't show.If he was run on batteries that fellow wouldn't work. All non nationals driving the vans and they haven't a clue about where they are going. The service is brutal at best.”
“Customer service at lowest rate. No respond for couple of days, no one cares about your queries. Forwarding your email from one department to another and your waiting countless days for respond, day 8 and no one contacted me yet.

“Guys, dpd delivery is so bad and the costumer service the same! They don’t care at all about costumers, they grow your package everywhere where they see a space if they don’t find your adress , to give you a call to ask you where he can’t you?? No way!! Just make a picture with the package that they delivered it anywhere but not on your adress and run! This is the second time , even the post man is calling you to ask you where he can find you! Wow guys! So bad customer service!! I don’t get it, they are paid for a service and they don’t delivered it, simple as that.”
“The keep sending my parcels to the wrong Depot, every single time. I get my orders with one or two days of delay. I really needed my phone yesterday so I contacted them to prevent this to happen… and it happened anyways.”
“Absolutely diabolical. Strung myself and Amazon along for 3 weeks trying to get a return collected. Kept saying they had tried and no one was home but our CCTV told otherwise. Managers ignoring emails, leaving their phone off the hook in local depot. Companies on amazon said they no longer deal with DPD Ireland due to their unreliability and unprofessionalism. I have never experienced anything like it

“The driver delivered the parcel just outside the porch door, where everyone could get it. Moreover I had troubles opening the door properly to get the parcel. I tried to contact their customer service via chat but the system crashed just when I was about to speak with a real person.”
“Very hard to do return as the website will only shows map of counties when it comes to the next step of showing the place where DPD site is located. I thinks it's the one of the DPD ways to discourage customers returns. My hand is already sore from trying to navigate the map with my finger as I don't have a mouse to use on my laptop. The initial center of the map is county ofally?? Really?? As if there's no customers in DUBLIN.”
“Arunas is the most Dpd driver that delivers to me. What a fantastic guy. He is so good at his job & goes above & beyond to make sure your that what he is delivering is secure from getting damaged. Always puts in a safe place.

“Extremely poor customer service, customer care as well as a terrible delivery experience. While delivering a package yesterday the driver called me to notify me of the delivery. I thanked him and asked him to leave the package at DPD depot because I wasn’t home and I will pick it up from the depot. The next day the driver without calling me just left the package in the common area of the building where more than 400 residents live and have access to. Someone from the workers doing the renovations must have put it inside and now I can’t get my package which is DPDs fault for leaving it where others can reach it.”
“Stayed at home yesterday to receive a parcel from dpd only to get a message saying that they had failed to deliver or contact me both of which were untrue. Over 70 messages to and from a bot later I was given 3 numbers none of them answered and had full mailboxes. Would definitely Not recommend”

“My parcel was delivered to the wrong address, when I contacted them they sent a picture of a door which wasn't mine. I sent a photo of my door and never got an answer back despite numerous emails. I contacted DPD in Athlone and was told my parcel was located to 7 minutes away but they couldn't guarantee delivery, subsequent contacts to dpd told me to claim from the company where I purchased the item,i questioned why because they weren't the ones who lost the item,after 2 frustrating weeks of trying to contact dpd my parcel was delivered. Appalling service”
