“Absolutely diabolical. Strung myself and Amazon along for 3 weeks trying to get a return collected. Kept saying they had tried and no one was home but our CCTV told otherwise. Managers ignoring emails, leaving their phone off the hook in local depot. Companies on amazon said they no longer deal with DPD Ireland due to their unreliability and unprofessionalism. I have never experienced anything like it
I can see the overall rating is a shambles too”
“The driver delivered the parcel just outside the porch door, where everyone could get it. Moreover I had troubles opening the door properly to get the parcel. I tried to contact their customer service via chat but the system crashed just when I was about to speak with a real person.”
“Very hard to do return as the website will only shows map of counties when it comes to the next step of showing the place where DPD site is located. I thinks it's the one of the DPD ways to discourage customers returns. My hand is already sore from trying to navigate the map with my finger as I don't have a mouse to use on my laptop. The initial center of the map is county ofally?? Really?? As if there's no customers in DUBLIN.”
“Arunas is the most Dpd driver that delivers to me. What a fantastic guy. He is so good at his job & goes above & beyond to make sure your that what he is delivering is secure from getting damaged. Always puts in a safe place.

“Extremely poor customer service, customer care as well as a terrible delivery experience. While delivering a package yesterday the driver called me to notify me of the delivery. I thanked him and asked him to leave the package at DPD depot because I wasn’t home and I will pick it up from the depot. The next day the driver without calling me just left the package in the common area of the building where more than 400 residents live and have access to. Someone from the workers doing the renovations must have put it inside and now I can’t get my package which is DPDs fault for leaving it where others can reach it.”
“Stayed at home yesterday to receive a parcel from dpd only to get a message saying that they had failed to deliver or contact me both of which were untrue. Over 70 messages to and from a bot later I was given 3 numbers none of them answered and had full mailboxes. Would definitely Not recommend”

“My parcel was delivered to the wrong address, when I contacted them they sent a picture of a door which wasn't mine. I sent a photo of my door and never got an answer back despite numerous emails. I contacted DPD in Athlone and was told my parcel was located to 7 minutes away but they couldn't guarantee delivery, subsequent contacts to dpd told me to claim from the company where I purchased the item,i questioned why because they weren't the ones who lost the item,after 2 frustrating weeks of trying to contact dpd my parcel was delivered. Appalling service”
“Package delivered to the wrong address, when rang customer service I was met with smart comments and how it was basically my fault, and I would have to follow up with the company I purchased the item. Was told the address on the parcel wasnt enough for the driver to find the correct house, was told there was no eircode, which there was when I eventually got it. Rude customer service team that don't have a clue how to speak with customers. Package also stated that it had been delivered and signed for, which is a lie when it was left at the wrong address and was not signed for by anyone. Eventually I got through to the depot, spoke with a nicer team member who sorted it out in minutes.”
“My order was to arrive today between 6 and 7pm. I was at home.
6.43 I got a text to state that dpd failed to deliver my parcel as I was not at home. Even though I was at home waiting on them. I did not see a van or any other transport outside my house.
They should have had my mobile number to contact me but I think they could not be bothered. I pay delivery charges and not happy
I cancelled plans all for a no show! Very disappointed!”
“Worst delivery service, the man rang me and said he was outside he was not outside and he sent the parcel back saying the contact number was incorrect. I have called them twice and used the chat service they offer, both are useless. No help at all. And still have no order? Cheers for that DPD.”
“The worst experience, always. Driver says parcel has been delivered, they attached the wrong address and a conspicuous photo of the parcel to the proof of address email, when in reality the parcel was not actually delivered to my address. After talking to customer service on the phone for hours, it was discovered that parcel was never delivered and it was still in the back of the delivery van. When they do deliver it's usually with a rude demeanour. This has happened more than once. Driver lies about delivery, causes unnecessary and extreme stress to consignee. Businesses should stop using DPD as their courier. They really should be using AN POST. An Post are more genuine and straight forward to deal with. I dread DPD deliveries. They're simply the worst. Any businesses considering couriers, please just use An Post. I'm stressed out writing this because here I am experiencing another horrible let down by DPD, once again.”
“Snail delivery once more, online order to German Company takes full 14 days now.
Granted the company themselves are initially slow, but there is 8 days belonging to DPD.
I assume the stall in local depots is because they are picking a day in the week for a certain area, miss that day,tough start waiting.
Drivers are excellent, management terrible.”
“Dpd use to be a really good delivery service. But in the last 3 years I must say just horrible. Right now in Ireland dpd, fastway, ups the worst out there. We are charged really high prices but the service you get is bad... Better off using the anpost the national service.”
“Waited all morning even though the they said delivery between 9.30-10.30 at 2o clock I rang them to be told it was left in a safe place, I have a buzzer at our house and when I went to our gate the parcel was completely smashed up and torn open on both sides and my item because it was thrown over our gates was broken and doesn’t work. Not happy at all. Never use this company it’s really bad.”
“If I could leave less than one star I would. Once again DPD claim that they attempted to deliver a package without success when I have been waiting in the house during the delivery time given. If I knew the seller was using this company I would never purchase anything from them. There was obviously no attempt at delivering today and then you are lied to.”
