“I love my new cardigans - The colours in the Westray Cardigan in Banff are absolutely stunning. It is so comfortable and warm to wear. I also purchased the Alpine Coat in Braemar - absolutely love the length of this sweater and it feels so soft. Eribe sweaters are very high quality, soft and comfortable to wear and their designs and colours are both traditional with a modern flair - which makes them so beautiful. My next purchase will be foxglove.”

“My favourite fairisles. I'm a perfect(!) size 10. However, all Eribes are too long in the sleeves, and so I turn cuffs up, but wish I didn't have to. Brora fits better, but not as eyecatching.”

Some of our sleeves are intentionally designed with a little extra length so they can be worn turned back. The cuffs are fully patterned and finished to look just as beautiful rolled, which gives flexibility depending on arm length and personal styling. “I have about 6 of the Westray sweaters now and about 4 of the Alpine short sweaters...and I absolutely love both styles! The colour combinations are fabulous and the quality superb. I would highly recommend both styles”

“The sweater had vibrant colors and fit well. I was under the impression, however, that the fabric would be much thicker than it was. I thought the various colors in the sweater were actually wool from 1970’s style sweaters which unfortunately they were not. I like the sweater but feel I am left a bit disappointed as for the price point I felt the product was a bit underwhelming.”

I’m glad to hear that you’re happy with the fit and colour of the sweater, though I’m sorry to hear it didn’t fully meet your expectations in terms of weight and construction. The Melrose range is designed using Soft Extrafine Merino, which is intentionally lightweight and breathable, making it well suited to milder temperatures and layering. This is reflected in the product description, as well as the use of fine-gauge merino rather than the heavier, thicker knits often associated with vintage Fair Isle styles from the 1970s. That said, we completely understand that personal expectations around weight and feel can vary, particularly when comparing to older heritage knits. “I was in Scotland last year and was bound and determined to find a Faire Isle Sweater. My hotel found a great liitle shop in Edinburough and I got my 1st Eribe sweater. I loved it so much and its been such a cold winter, I decided to treat myself to another one. Then My friend saw me wearing it and I am ordering one for her.”

“I'm fast becoming a huge fan of your knitwear! The wonderful Corry Raglan jumper in Inferno has been joined by one in Caspian and then, naughty me, I was tempted by the Corry V-Neck Top, also in Inferno! These knits are so much fun to wear and accessorise, they fit beautifully and look great for all occasions.”

“Lovely jumper so soft,comfortable and cosy. Great service. This was my first purchase from Eribe and won't be my last! Price wise it did seem a lot but what I got did justify the outlay. I am expecting to enjoy wearing it for many years to come !”

“I have brought fairisle jumpers which l liked, but have just brought the plain corey high neck sweater, which l love, longer, looser style. The neck is not polo neck but high enough to keep you warm. Lovely colours to choose from and great quality. I am about size 8 and brought a xs which fits perfectly.”

“I contacted them before purchasing to see which size and style would suit my body shape. I got an immediate answer. Based on the recommendations I bought a beautiful jumper. The quality and colours are exceptional. I’m very pleased.”

“The jumper was gorgeous but it was a unisex jumper meaning it didn't really suit my plus size frame. The sleeves were too long and it didn't have the extra room where I need it most, round the tum and bum. Reluctantly had to send back.”
