Founded in 1986, our knitwear design house and manufacturing company is based in Melrose, in the Scottish Borders. We pride ourselves on championing Made in Scotland and have a dedicated fan base worldwide. “I first saw these Fair Isle sweaters in a shop in Trier, Germany but talked myself out of buying one. Regretted it ever since but I hadn't looked at the label so had no idea how to order online. Fast forward 2 years later and I saw them in a local store (they're so distinctive that I recognized them instantly). They didn't have my size in the color I'd wanted but I checked the label and immediately went online and ordered one. So vibrant and beautiful and the fit is lovely. I'm delighted with my purchase.”

“I’ve just purchased my 7th Alpine jumper/cardi and my first Westray vest! I’ve got a lovely Stoneybrek yolk unisex jumper as well. I’m obviously a little addicted! They are soft and sturdy and wear very well. I wear mine to work and get daily compliments or with jeans on the weekend. Five stars!”

“I recently interacted twice with Eribe: I bought a new sweater and I told them that a previously-purchased piece had shrunk, despite careful handwashing in cold water. The company was amazing with the older sweater. They asked me to post it to them, they steamed it to perfectly re-size it (I don't know how!), and they kindly reimbursed me for the postage. My new sweater -- the Stobo fairisle pullover -- is just as beautiful as my original sweater. I feel so lucky to have these two gorgeous pieces from a company whose ethic I admire as much as their designs. Both sweaters are beautifully made and will last for many years. And I've also received careful counseling from Eribe on how to wash my sweaters so they won't shrink.”
