“I purchased the Glowstone mug in September 2024 for £114, and by December, it stopped charging entirely. The charger works fine (tested with other devices), so the issue is clearly with the mug itself. Despite multiple emails to Glowstone’s customer service, I’ve received **zero response** – not even an acknowledgment. For such an expensive product, this lack of reliability and support is unacceptable. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, items should last longer than 3 months, but Glowstone seems uninterested in honoring their legal obligations. Save your money and avoid this company – there are far better alternatives out there with actual customer care. Paul White.”

“This product is near engineering perfection. I love the amount of thought that has gone into it, and the passion that went into building it definitely shows. I had one thing I disliked about it initially, but since I’ve used it for a longer period of time, I’ve realised that it’s not a real issue.”

“ORDERED SECOND FLASHLIGHT NEEDED HANDLE ATTATCHMENT AS HAD ALL OTHER ITEMS NOT ACTUALLY AVAILABLE WITH LIGHT BUT GLOWSTONE SUPPLIED IT HAVE HAD FIRST ONE SINCE TV DEBUT AND IS STILL GOING STRONG EXELLENT PRODUCT. KEN GREENWOOD”

“I would not currently recommend this mug as it is difficult to get it to cooperate. The battery doesn't last a full hour and you can't charge while using it. The temperate is not hot enough when it does work and when you first take it off of the charger, you have to wait several seconds and then pour hot liquid in it. Overall this cup is more of a gimmick than a useful product for a serious coffee drinker. I would return it for a refund, but I don't really have time to mess with shipping it back and I have to pay for the shipping. I may end up regifting it.”

“This is the second light I have bought, and is much improved on the first incarnation as I can turn it off first time trying! The package came promptly this time, unlike when it was first in development and the wait was interminable 😁 The light is great and lasts quite a long time on a charge.”

“I love my glowstone mug. The color is awesome, and once you figure out when to and when no to put the mug back on the pad, you are going to get hot wonderful coffee (or tea) for one hour. The only thing that would make it perfect is to have the heat last longer.”

“Very high quality bone china mugs which perform exactly as described to keep drinks hot. Obviously very expensive but that reflects the current market for similar items. One small improvement I would recommend is that the mug heating element be activated as soon as the mug is filled with hot beverage, rather than waiting until it cools as currently designed. This change would make it even more effective in maintaining the temperature, since it obviously takes some time for the heating element in the base to heat the entire contents.”

“I ordered the mug for a Christmas present. I didn’t expect it to arrive before Christmas because I had left it so late so I was delighted when it arrived three days before. The cup itself is extremely well made and looks great. It also does keep my husband’s coffee hot and you can put it in the dishwasher as long as below 60 degrees wash. An excellent present”
