“Hi I ordered the magnesium spray for my husband and myself, we’ve used it for two weeks and I can’t say it’s helped me go to sleep or stay asleep and hasn’t helped my husbands night cramps. I’m wondering if you have any advice like how long before bed should you use it. Thanks Jeanette”

Hi Jeanette, We're sorry to hear you're not yet experiencing the benefits of the spray. Please don't be worried, everyone's bodies are different and respond to supplements in different ways. This can be affected by various things, such as your body's rate of absorption of supplements, your genetics, weight, sex, and many different factors. For some people the spray might provide relief within a day's use, meanwhile it can take a minimum of 3-4 weeks of consistent use before they notice any difference. This is quite common with many supplements, as your body's magnesium levels need to get loaded up first. Of course, it's still not guaranteed to work for everyone, it helps about 90-95% of people, but we would always say to persevere and finish the bottle. As you said you are using it for sleep, we recommend using it approx 30 minutes before going to bed. Some people find that it helps them to reapply the spray during the night. If you are taking any medications or supplements, it's always worth checking with your GP if they interact with magnesium at all, because certain things can alter the efficacy of one another. “The delivery time was slow by today's Amazon inspired standards but acceptable. The product is ok. My main issue is with the flowery language employed for what is a remote business transaction. Enclosing a card which tells me you love me is bizzarre and slightly unsettling. You don't know me! I just spent 10 quid with you. Hardly an amount likely to cause this sort of reaction. It doesn't sound personal, it just sounds weird.”

Hi Roz, we're so sorry to hear you've been feeling discomfort when using the spray. It is normal to feel some amount of itchiness, this can indicate that your magnesium levels are low and this is how some people's skin responds to it. Of course if it is causing a concerning amount of discomfort we would recommend discontinuing use. Here are some things many have found helped them when experiencing itchiness: -You can dilute it with water -Use less at a time -Use in less sensitive areas (soles of feet) -Rinse off after 15-20 minutes of application, perhaps spray it on just before your evening shower We also have a sensitive skin version of the spray available, that one may be a better option for you to try, if the above tips don't work for you.
