Hello Kevin, The program you were enrolled in, Affordable Care Act, provides monthly subsidies that go towards the payment of your health insurance plan. You are receiving a monthly subsidy. The money is not distributed directly to the person enrolling for their own personal use. Rather, it is paid directly to the insurance company on their behalf. We cannot disclose your personal information here. The customer service is very good. But I don’t like that they don’t have full coverage.

When I called I was hung up on twice!! and when I called the 3rd time I was told since I had insurance through market place I did not qualify for anything else! really? I struggle monthly to pay my bills because every is so high! I have to work 2 jobs to make ends meet. Ya'll are a JOKE!! Plus he tried to sell me more insurance!???? REALLY??!!

Hello Michelle, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Your experience is not the experience we work to provide for our customers. So please allow me a moment to explain why we may not have been able to assist you with enrollment in a health insurance plan. As we initially explained, if you are already enrolled in a health insurance plan through the Marketplace, you have already received a subsidy through the Marketplace for that plan. Under ACA rules and regulations, a person enrolled in qualifying health plan cannot be enrolled in a different or competing coverage, such as a plan that employer-sponsored, Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, VA , TriCare, or another individual plan through the Healthcare Marketplace. Since you were already enrolled in a qualifying health plan, we could not help you apply for more savings for a different plan. What our licensed agent may have inquired about - is your interest in filling in the gaps of your current plan. Typically, plans in the Marketplace have no or very limited coverage for things such as dental services which under Marketplace regulations it is not considered an essential health benefit. So, we try to offer our clients affordable ways of filling in that gap in coverage through supplemental plans that help them avoid paying hundreds of dollars out of their pocket for important services that are not considered essential in their qualifying health plans.
