I bought a very basic 3D Printer several years ago and have used it to make parts for my own use, for my wife's hobbies, and a large number of parts to assist a friend who has started a home business that is going well enough it has been his full time occupation for the past couple of years. I got involved because of my electrical engineering background was used to get one of the first product prototypes working, and we've made several upgrades since then. But cranking out "things people want to buy at a highly profitable price" isn't my goal for my retirement years. Just doing useful things for others and my own needs is plenty. “For me, the business model format doesn't work.
I would like to get a 3D printing business off the ground, but I have to continue working at my present profession which dosen't afford me the time to respond to the time settings of your company. I can't always get to my emails every day.
I needed access to a larger portion, complete would be better, of the information at one time. A few modules each week doesn't work for me.
I wanted the lifetime membership, that was supposed to give full access to everything at once, but every time I tried to enroll and pay for it I got an "oops, yout to late" page. And, trying to contact you about it didn't work either.
So, without full access to all materials for as long as I need them, this just dosen't work for my situation. I wish it did, the information seemed complete and of good quality. Now I have to search for something that will work for me. Hopefully it will come close to what you have.
My form of payment was stolen, so it had to be canceled, the day before the next payment for your service was to be made. As I planned to cancel anyway it seemed to work out.”

Your vast and in-depth knowledge on 3d printing, your educational resources, your prompt and accurate replies to my questions on the community helped solve many problems on my new 3d printer and now, as a hobbyist, I can enjoy printing stuff. 3d printing is a hobby that requires a lot of time, at least with Luke and Jess it does not require more than necessary. I only hoped that they also had a hobbyist plan with a much lower rate, to include individuals like me and not only professionals.”
“The information has been a big help but there seems to be a lot of repetition within the video guides.
I had a lot of hassle to get to where I wanted to be at first but this was resolved with a few emails to & fro.
With regards to the ask an expert part, it was a big help at first but it takes too much time to get answers. This should / could be addressed by allocating a set number of tasks to each "expert" so they are not overloaded. Assigning questions to someone who is not in the same time zone is not helpful and waiting days at a time can be incredibly frustrating and time wasting.
At the moment I am sitting on the fence before recommending the IO3DP to friends because of the afore mentioned issues.”
