“First time purchasing and growing seed potatoes. Ordered them and received within a couple of days. The product (Desiree main crop) arrived well-packed and in perfect condition. Full, clear and easily understood instructions were labelled on the net bag. My Tatties are planted and hopefully, all will be well come harvest time. Will definitely use Jamieson Brothers again but will purchase my seed earlier to give a better chance of a larger yield. Time will tell how my first crop will fare. Coincidently the brother's website also mentions Doctor Dunnet with whom my late Mother worked at the Bush estate (Pentland field) at Bilston, Midlothian. I Picked, forked (graped) hundreds of different 'experimental' tatties as a boy with my Mother and Doctor Dunnet would follow behind selecting and bagging in heavy brown paper bags after numbering/naming and other details were written. These tatties came in all shapes, sizes and colours. I did not realise at the time just how important his work was so this was a great discovery and memory reminder for me. Thanks.”
