The food tasted very unpleasant. It gave me indigestion. I gave some of it away but threw the rest in the bin.

I am writing this as a warning to anyone considering Jane Plan. This service has been a total nightmare from a customer service and value perspective. The Issues: Subpar Food Quality: The main reason I signed up was for a premium meal service, but the food is nowhere near the standard I expected for the price. It is poor quality, and frankly, I feel the contract was essentially broken because the product delivered didn't match what was promised. Shocking Customer Service: Trying to cancel is an uphill battle. I’ve been met with nothing but resistance and "shocking" service. Contradictory Information: When I requested to cancel, I was given two completely different figures for the "difference" I had to pay to settle the account. They can’t even give me a straight answer on what I owe. The "Exit Fee" Trap: Because the quality was so low, I wanted out. Now, I’m being forced to pay a penalty just to stop receiving food I don’t want for the next 8 months. Verdict: It feels like a massive scam. They lock you into a long-term commitment for a low-quality product and then make it as difficult (and expensive) as possible to leave. Do not sign up. It’s appalling

I find the advertising campaign irritating and the reviews aren't favourable. Constantly offering discounts which could mean the company isn't attracting customers.

Absolutely disgusting food, looks and tastes awful what a waste of money,as for Sean Wallace from the chase advertising how wonderful the plan is , he's either lying and being paid a fortune to do so or he has no taste buds !!!!!!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Jane Plan. I joined with the genuine intention of trying the food for one month to see whether it was worth the price. What I received instead was a misleading subscription setup, poor customer service, and food that is far from the “healthy” image being advertised. First, the food quality. Many of the meals contain highly processed ingredients, preservatives, and palm oil, which is widely known to be one of the worst fats both for health and sustainability. For a company marketing itself as a weight-loss and lifestyle brand, this was shocking. The meals feel industrial rather than nutritious, and absolutely not worth the premium price being charged. Second, the subscription trap. It is presented in a way that strongly suggests you can “try” the service and cancel early. What is not clearly explained at the point of purchase is that choosing a longer plan (such as 8 months) locks you into a minimum duration, and if you decide after the first month that the product is not for you, you are penalised with extra charges just to leave. This is not transparent and feels intentionally designed to trap customers into continuing. At no point was it clearly communicated that cancelling early would require paying additional fees or “conversion charges”, even if you are still in your first month and before any further deliveries. This is extremely misleading and unfair to customers who simply want to try the service. Finally, customer service. Instead of showing understanding or goodwill for a first-time customer who is cancelling early, the support team was rigid, unhelpful, and focused only on enforcing charges. There was no effort to resolve the issue fairly or acknowledge how unclear the process is for new customers. Overall, this experience has left me feeling misled and disappointed. I would not recommend Jane Plan to anyone who values transparency, clean ingredients, and respectful customer treatment. There are far better and more honest alternatives on the market.

Jane Plan certainly didn’t make me happy. Meals so small and most of them really not tasty. On opening a Chicken Korma I was horrified to find most of the rice was an unpleasant green colour. I sent a photo and had a choice of a refund or replacement. Needles to say I am now very wary of eating any more of their meals. I certainly won’t be ordering with JanePlan again.

Do not believe the pictures in the adverts, in the advert it looks healthy and enjoyable food to eat, in reality sources are very watery the meat is like playing hide and seek the potatoes on top of cottage pie shepherds pie are brown and taste awful, please please do not sign up for this plan it will cost you more to get out of it when you realise it is not nice food, and any food that has over a 12 month expiry date and cook it in the microwave should make you think there must be something better out there

The meals are not only unattractive to look at they taste awful. Any meat is like chewing rope and they all taste the same. Most of the soups are far too peppery for me. My husband and son just laugh when they see them on my plate and wonder how I can face eating them. I don’t often eat one as I just dislike them so much but am loath to throw them away as I signed up for 4 months. I have now had them so long some are neatly out of date.

The advertising campaign isn't inspiring and rather aggrevating and fickle.

The plan is very expensive and the food is NOT nice. The agreement is very unfair too. Because I cancelled after the first week and I had to pay an extra £50 for them to cancel the contract!!! This means that I have paid over £400 for 4 weeks food for one person. I feel so foolish!! I couldn't continue as the food was so awful!!

Well I signed up for 8 months!!! Yes 8 months costing me a fortune and couldn't eat many of the meals as too spicy for me I also tried to cancel but that was too expensive to do, because I had lost my taste following brain surgery, I couldn't tolerate spicy food and rely on texture so anyone knowing JP will understand it's not very palatable especially for me but even though I couldn't cancel without it costing me dearly now I have boxes stacking up only one more month to go 🥴 very difficult to get food open especially after microwave 😔 impossible to peel open, some foods were mouldy as was damaged package but couldn't be bothered to complain. Breakfast is best soup is good and veggie lasagna nice macaroni cheese is good too. So far lost 10lb I'm sure it would've worked well if I could tolerate the food. Sorry JP nice try but sadly it's a 👎 from me 😞
