“Do not believe the pictures in the adverts, in the advert it looks healthy and enjoyable food to eat, in reality sources are very watery the meat is like playing hide and seek the potatoes on top of cottage pie shepherds pie are brown and taste awful, please please do not sign up for this plan it will cost you more to get out of it when you realise it is not nice food, and any food that has over a 12 month expiry date and cook it in the microwave should make you think there must be something better out there”
“The meals are not only unattractive to look at they taste awful. Any meat is like chewing rope and they all taste the same. Most of the soups are far too peppery for me. My husband and son just laugh when they see them on my plate and wonder how I can face eating them. I don’t often eat one as I just dislike them so much but am loath to throw them away as I signed up for 4 months. I have now had them so long some are neatly out of date.”

“disgusting food. The look of it out microwave is not appetising and not edible. Tastes gross. Had two soups diff days both gave me ironic tummy upset for days. Macaroni cheese looks grey gross also was sick after eating it. On medication for the diarreah . Rang CS said dont send any more she said you cant cancel unless you pay £50 . I told her on meds made me that unwell said nothing to do with food speak to a dietitian. Did not want to know said if i paid ectra £50 she could cancel it as was on offer.”
“The plan is very expensive and the food is NOT nice. The agreement is very unfair too. Because I cancelled after the first week and I had to pay an extra £50 for them to cancel the contract!!! This means that I have paid over £400 for 4 weeks food for one person. I feel so foolish!!

“Well I signed up for 8 months!!! Yes 8 months costing me a fortune and couldn't eat many of the meals as too spicy for me I also tried to cancel but that was too expensive to do, because I had lost my taste following brain surgery, I couldn't tolerate spicy food and rely on texture so anyone knowing JP will understand it's not very palatable especially for me but even though I couldn't cancel without it costing me dearly now I have boxes stacking up only one more month to go 🥴 very difficult to get food open especially after microwave 😔 impossible to peel open, some foods were mouldy as was damaged package but couldn't be bothered to complain. Breakfast is best soup is good and veggie lasagna nice macaroni cheese is good too. So far lost 10lb I'm sure it would've worked well if I could tolerate the food. Sorry JP nice try but sadly it's a 👎 from me 😞”

“I have been sent mouldy food and packaging in only my 2nd order. You have ignored my emails and a weak sorry is not good enough through your excuse that is customer service. If I could leave I would straight away but as I am committed to your contract I don't want excessive costs and be paying for something that I am worried about eating. I will not be using your company again once my contract expires and will never recommend you.”
“I've just had my first meal and it was lovely and so tasty. I did make a salad to go with it as it does tell you that's what you should do,do those people who say they aren't getting enough veg and fruit, go out and get some.”
“I think it's a scam. You are presented with glowing reviews on the website and because I was feeling down due to feeling overweight my husband very generously signed me up for a 4 month plan at great expense. The first month I found almost all the meals pretty unpleasant but put that down to me not choosing my menu very carefully. The second month I was stuck with the same stuff as I didn't realise I had to change my selection several days in advance. Again my own fault. I did persevere as my husband was paying so much for it (although quite a few of the meals did go in the bin) and did lose a little weight. The trouble is once you've signed up for a plan you can't get out of it without paying a large exit fee. At last I have come to an end and have been able to get out of it and I have lost weight but that's because the majority of it was so disgusting just the look of it on a plate in front of me made me want to throw up so into the bin again. So to sum up my experience, I did indeed lose weight but only because I couldn't eat the food. It would have been much cheaper for my husband if I had had the willpower to simply eat less!”

“Jane Plan is excellent there's choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. I'm a picky eater and haven't found anything I couldn't eat. There are many choices for each meal. Loss in 3 months 3 stone 9 pounds! Best ever success, choice, very tasty and great weightloss achieved to date. Portion control by JP is great, plus you can add in lots of veg and some fruit daily. I think it's easily a 5 star plan, and the real way to lose weight if you can't spend a lot of time cooking. Thank you Jane Plan for opening up my life again...”
“Your meals are pretty boring, with every main containing tomatoes and /or too many spices.
I was having a new kitchen & bathroom fitted so having to endure those meals too made me depressed.
I could have used the 5-2 diet if I'd had the use of my kitchen.When I had a notification of the next box, I replied to the email cancelling the subscription but I was ignored when I asked them not to take any more money.Yesterday I returned home to find the box outside my door.Now that I have my new kitchen I will continue dieting but can have the meals I want.I wouldn't do this diet again or recommend it to anyone.I have a box of food which I will never touch.”
“Jane plan food is not good at all. Every one of the meals taste the same. Just feels like all the recipes have OXO cubes, be it curry or any food. Not a sign of curry taste. One feels so hungry all the time. Not satisfying at all. Was not happy for the money paid. Not tasty at all. Bland food”
“Some of the meals are nice, unfortunately some are inedible. The beef lasagna is like chewing rubber, I was heaving towards the end of it. Kept thinking it'll get better, but no, it got worse.
I'd been really looking forward to the lunches, as I'd picked a lot of couscous dishes. Unfortunately, due to the way they are made, so you store them in a cupboard, the couscous was so hard I had to break it up by stabbing it with a knife. Would be excellent for repairing all the potholes! Ended up making it fresh myself, as it should be, light and fluffy.
Also, as several other people have said, if you decide it's not for you, the amount you are charged is ridiculous. There is apparently no exception, pay to get out of the subscription or keep paying every month.”
