Very Disappointed — Waste of Time and Money I paid $1,200 for a marketing and audiobook package, and the entire experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. I was promised 400–500 website visits per day after a few weeks of advertising. After four weeks, the most I had in one day was four visits. Not 400 — just four. To make matters worse, the audiobook portion of the package was never completed. I’ve followed up multiple times and keep getting vague responses, excuses, and delays. Nothing has been delivered, in fact they keep switching me to a new project person, they way the new one can say, well I don't know what the other person told you, but I'm here to help. This happened several times, and when I caught them in a lie, they started to avoid me. At this point, I feel completely scammed. I have nothing to show for the money I invested — no meaningful traffic, no audio version of my book, and no results. Save yourself the disappointment and spend your money elsewhere. This was a total scam.

KDP is poorly ran and though it may seem at first to be a good option I strongly advice you seek another service. I am a published author with several titles to my name - including a couple of self-published works. The only troubles I have ever had is with KDP who for whatever reason is blocking the republication of my book - though they sold the first edition - arguing that I cannot use a pen name (though many do) and that my "new" title to much resembled my previous book already published (which is of course the first edition). After several days and a dozen emails it is clear there is no getting through to these people and no way to contact someone in person. I have pointed out that its a second edition of a book no longer in print that they previously sold so of course the new edition is "similar"??? They even sent me a link of my own book as proof as to why they could not allow another similar book to be printed and when I point out that its the same book and I am the same author they simply ignore that point and just repeat the exact same nonsensical position. So instead I went back to Ingram with this title and got it up and running in no time - and surprise its available for sale on Amazon - KDP your a joke - and your customer service is horrible.

stop stealing authors money and terminating for no reason and without allowing the hard working authors to be given a chance to fix what ever the issue is. Authors need to walk so kdp is no more. A billion dollar company and cant even have chat or phone support for authors is pathetic not to mention no real stats on traffic customers etc. Its shady as and bexos doesnt care.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT TRUST KDP PUBLISHING AS THEY ARE THIEVES AND SCAMMERS!!!!! KDP does not value you as a customer, do not publish with them as they have non-existent customer service, it's just bots responding and they have now removed the option to call too. Out of nowhere, they suspended my book and account for a supposed violation that they will offer me no reason for. SO THEY GET TO KEEP ALL ROYALTIES!!! KDP ARE THIEVES!! BOYCOTT KDP..THEY OWN INGRAM SPARK TO SO AVOID AT ALL COSTS TOO.

Awful and non existent customer service. They have a rating of 1.3 on Trustpilot so unsure how they have 4+ stars on here. Very sus. To cut a long story short i've spoken to around 16 different "kdp agents" since 27th April and none of them can tell me why i am not able to preview my own book or why i am not able to upload a new version and instead i just keep getting constant error messages. Even the alleged supervisors just keep repeating themselves like robots, none of them seem to be able to listen to facts or resolve anything at all. I am genuinely wondering whether its all just a big scam. None of the reasons they've given make any sense whatsoever. And they just keep repeating themselves over and over. Ive been trying to resolve this for 16 days. You can imagine how angry i am. I would recommend anyone to go elsewhere save yourself the stress.

If I could give them less than 0 I would. Worst customer service and all they use is generic messages to respond to customer. The content review team also does not esculate issues to management when you ask them to, they would refuse than block your book. I asked them to delete my account but I will be sure to mail the management a letter and will include the name of every content review that I dealt with. Their was multiple over the course of 2 week.

My experience with KDP PUBLISHERS (AMZ Publishing Profs) was highly frustrating and unsatisfactory. They failed to fulfill their commitments, ignored communication for weeks, and provided false reassurances. Despite requesting specific services, I only received a paperback and Kindle version of my book, with no hardcover, board book, author's page, or printed copies as promised. They constantly delayed the printing process, giving inconsistent updates. When I requested a refund, they ignored me and tried to offer additional services instead. I strongly advise against trusting KDP PUBLISHERS (AMZ Publishing Profs) for your publishing needs. They have proven to be unreliable and untrustworthy. Here are some suggestions if you encounter a similar situation: ensure a SIGNED contract and invoice, avoid sharing unnecessary personal information, research reputable publishing companies, exit early if expectations aren't met, and wait until you can afford a well-known company to avoid wasting time and resources.
