However a fair amount of the logs were longer than 25cm as I had ordered to fit into my log burner.
Being an elderly widow it wasn't good as I have no way of splitting them smaller.”
“The delivery man wheeled the huge bag of logs on a dolly to my garage which was great (I wasn't at home at the time), but rather than push the said logs into the garage, which was open, he left them next to it. As an older women alone, I could not move the logs and even with help from two other people,we struggled. We ended pushing the bag on it's side which culminated in logs spilling out all over the driveway. I know that the 'script' is kerbside delivery but given that the driver had gone to the ttrouble of pushing the logs to my garage it seems strange that he didn't go the extra foot and push them into the garage.”
