“Nice products, but slooooooooow shipping. I ordered on Aug 1, heard nothing for 3 days so reached out via email. Was told it was shipping Friday Aug 4. All they did was generate a USPS label but it was want picked up. So I had to wait until Monday for it to go out. I don’t expect to get it until Aug 11. It’s hard to get on board with the brand when you have to wait so long. Too many other products out that I can get way quicker. Just frustrating as I started with the very small sample pack. I liked the products so ordered the complete set but I’ll run out of the sample pack before I receive the new set. You gotta make this process better for your customers to have stronger retention. Only other complaint is no variety in scents. It’s a good smell but could conflict with other colognes.”
“I had high hopes - but was disappointed. I bought the trial and was VERY disappointed with the SPF. I live in CA and after a day at the beach, it was a fail. I reapplied during the day but still ended up with a light sunburn.
I tan easily, but my face and scalp are usually the most likely to burn..and they still did. It's a shame - it goes on nicely and leaves no residue, but the SP30 doesn't provide the protection I was hoping for.
I'm not a fan of patchouli, so the scent doesn't work for me either. The face wash seems to take a large amount to cover my face and head - and the moisturizer is far too greasy for my skin type.
I love Karamo and was very excited to see a brand focused on bald skin - I'm going to stick with my original skincare routine and continue to find that elusive SPF that goes on as evenly as MANTL but with MUCH better SPF protection.
Their marketing seems to be geared to men of all nationalities, but I'm wondering if POC would have better results - I'm still a Karamo stan - just not a MANTL fan.”
