“Great Support but Needs Clearer Guidelines MEB maintains clear and open lines of communication, ensuring I always have the guidance and help I need. I no longer feel unsupported like my previous tutoring company. The company does not force us to work if we say no for some reason. 😊One downside is the lack of clear guidelines on handling academic dishonesty, leaving tutors in a difficult position. 😌For instance, one student needed help with better understanding complex math concepts, and I was able to provide effective support thanks to the resources available. However, clearer guidelines would enhance the experience.”

“MyEngineeringBuddy.com contacted me through LinkedIn eight months ago. My experience with them has been largely positive. They care about their tutors and aren't just focused on making money. They ensure we have what we need to succeed. However, there are some downsides. I don’t know exactly how much profit they take, but I've heard it ranges from 20% to 60%, which makes me wonder if students are paying a lot more. Another issue is the inconsistent workload; sometimes there’s too much work, other times very little. Also, the company doesn’t pay for the time spent on inquiries. As a tutor, you can spend up to 20 minutes understanding an assignment without any compensation. Despite these, working with MyEngineeringBuddy.com in the field of Mechanical Engineering has been a good experience overall.”

However, they don't offer compensation for the time tutors spend on initial inquiries, which can take 15-20 minutes to understand an assignment.
