“Hey there! I've got to talk about something that didn't sit right with me about MyEngineering Buddy. Okay, first things first, their team is on point with matching tutors to students. Seriously, you can connect with a real person instantly. Unlike my old tutoring gig where I had to wait forever! But man, getting selected as a tutor at MyEngineeringBuddy? It was tougher than cracking IITJEE, no joke! And that's coming from someone who's been through it. But hey, tutors do get to have some say in the final pricing, which is a nice touch. “As a tutor for MEB, I initially had high hopes. My experience with them has been a mixed bag. While it's great that tutors have a say in the final price, you often end up in endless negotiations with students. This whole back-and-forth can become quite frustrating. Ugh! Providing quality education should be the focus, not haggling over fees. I find it quite tiresome, and it takes away from the joy of teaching. It's an aspect that really needs improvement. At My EngineeringBuddy, there is a fair cancellation policy that ensures my time and effort are respected, which provides much-needed stability. This is something I like the most. 👍 As a tutor, I appreciate that they don't harass us for small things like other companies. This allows me to focus on delivering quality tutoring. “I found MEB on a review website and decided to join them right away. Honestly, the payment is way better than what competitors offer. But man, it can get pretty lonely since there's almost no community or peer support among tutors. It gets kinda isolating. One time, I had a student struggling with college-level courses in Mechanical Engineering. We made it through alright, but I wish there was a better sense of teamwork here. Overall, MyEngineeringBuddy has its perks but also its drawbacks.”
