Toaster should have been delivered end December, still not received or refund and awful to get hold off. its 23rd feb 26 and now escalating to trading standards

I’m leaving this review to warn others and to help anyone who may find themselves in the same position. I received a delivery from this company that arrived damaged. The items were delivered on pallets, boxed and individually wrapped. At delivery, the driver unloaded the goods and advised that no signature was required. I was therefore not given a realistic opportunity to unpack and inspect the items at the point of delivery - its also unrealistic to expect a driver to wait whilst you remove from pallet, unbox and unwrap. When the damage was identified after unpacking and reported promptly, the company relied on their delivery terms and conditions to refuse a proper resolution, stating that damage must be reported with the driver present and delivery refused. It’s important for other customers to know that company terms and conditions do not override consumer rights. Under UK consumer law, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If items arrive damaged, customers still have rights regardless of their internal delivery policies. If you experience issues, don’t be put off by being told “you signed for it” or “it wasn’t reported at delivery”. Raise the issue in writing, keep evidence, and if necessary speak to your card provider about a chargeback or dispute. I’m sharing this so others don’t feel powerless or discouraged from standing up for themselves.

Wish I had seen reviews before ordering ! Only wanted a pair of oven gloves , paid over £8 delivery then an email arrived saying they wanted an extra £15 delivery ! I asked to cancel order and they said a 5% charge would be taken off ! Over £24 for delivery for a pair of oven gloves . Wouldn’t mind but we are less rural than the company and in the same country ! Awaiting outcome of refund

Absolutely unacceptable and deceptive practice. I placed an order worth nearly £3,000. After waiting around 10 days, I received an email stating that the delivery would take place within 30 minutes. No prior notice, no scheduling, no options. We do not live in a village — this is London. A 30-minute, last-minute notification is completely unrealistic and unacceptable for any professional delivery service. As expected, we were unable to receive the parcel. Now comes the shocking part: we are being asked to pay £72 for re-delivery. This charge is not clearly stated anywhere in their Terms & Conditions. This is nothing short of misleading and an attempt to push unexpected, unjustified costs onto the customer after the fact. I will be reporting this company to all relevant authorities and platforms to prevent others from being treated the same way. Avoid this company at all costs.

Order deep fat fryers November had numerous emails stating it would be delivered still not delivered December so cancelled order still waiting for refund 2 months later cant phone as they dont answer or it doesn't ring

I ordered a mini oven from this company and it's nearly a month later and there has been no delivery. The company do not answer their phones ever. The line cuts off immediately, the webchat is just a bot and does not connect to the costumer service people and I have not heard anything regarding delivery. My emails to request cancellation of the order and a refund are being ignored. Am absolutely disgusted. Also the trick when ordering offering a discount if you post a review immediately, is false as no discount is applied. Just a way to get a good review before you have experienced the service itself. Am disgusted with this as this could be a scam given they are not refunding

Bought a pizza oven from them, it was delayed in being delivered and when arrived it was the wrong item. We were told in writing if we accept an incorrect delivery we are liable for the item and costs so we refused delivery. They now want to charge us for the return courier and 25% of the item value to "restock" the item. This was in April - and we haven't received any money or the correct oven. They are holding over £900 of our money The dont reply to emails or answer the phone - their items look good value but you WILL get burnt. Please do not use them.

⚠️ Very poor service – be extremely careful ⚠️ I am extremely disappointed with Next Day Catering Equipment. I purchased a Lincat Lynx 400 LGR Griddle (K159) and cancelled the order the very next day. It has now been almost one month, and despite writing to them three times, I have never received a single response. They have not refunded my money (£360.69), which is not a small amount, and they completely ignore emails. No explanation, no apology, no professionalism whatsoever. Order Reference 3139993449959 - placed on 23/11/2025 I want people to be aware and think twice before ordering from this company. In my experience, they are not a serious business, they do not communicate, and they clearly have no urgency when it comes to returning customers’ money. I'm without my money and without the griddle. Very stressful and unacceptable experience.

If i could give zero stars... i would... made a complete fool if myself ordered a set of knives that never came.... ordered a microwave not realising yhus was the same company several months later... and yep that hasnt turned up either.... wont make that mistake again.

Delivered broken glass, then ghosted me until I had to raise a bank dispute This company has taken £364 of my money and gave me NOTHING in return... After being told my fridge would be delivery within 5-7 working days. After 9 working days it was finally delivery. BUT there was a huge hole in the box with smashed glass pouring out so I refused it and contacted the company. They promised to send a new one out. This was 2 months ago, I have sent countless emails since to no reply, tried calling them a dozen times (their phone line it broken) and the online chat is just an AI bot. This is beyond poor customer service or internal communication. This is clearly a systemic issue or willfully ignoring customer complaints/failed deliveries. I am currently going through trading standards to raise my concerns.

Ordered something for next day delivery but still waiting a week later. No one answers the phone, no one answers emails. Appalling. AI Chatbot useless. Do not use this company. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Brought a potato rumbler two weeks aga and still hasn't arrived called evey day but never got through to anyone text 4 time and nothing this company should be called next year maybe catering equipment stay away

Must be the worst supposedly legitimate company I have ever dealt with. We ordered multiple items for our cafe to be ready for our grand opening beginning of October but after weeks of waiting we had to open without tables or vital equipment. They sent some kitchen items we ordered but provided no guidance on anything else leaving us in limbo for over a month without any tables. We had to operate as takeout only because they don’t respond to emails or calls. I demanded a refund a month ago and not had anything back from them. Again, they do not respond to emails or calls. I think we might have to go to trading standards as they seem to be willingly withholding our money.
