“I am elated to have found Pasturebird! I have a voided cooking and eating chicken for so long for many reasons including, the slime, the smell, the texture and taste of regular store-bought chicken. I after doing a ton of research I realize that every label that says vegetarian fed is a horrible diet for an animal who naturally eats proteins from bugs and other creatures in the ground. All of which, influences the quality of the food we ultimately consume. Pasturebird’s chicken taste immediately tells you the difference. But even before that, preparing the chicken there’s no slime, there’s no “foul” smell. After the first pack I cooked I went online and bought a 30 pack of chicken cuts. “I purchased a pack of 10 whole chickens from PastureBird.com recently. So far, I’ve cooked 6 of them, 5 different ways and they all turned out wonderful! These chickens are full of collagen because the broth from the carcasses congeals a lot thicker than the store-bought chickens (organic or not). They looked clean and didn’t smell. Best chicken I have ever purchased. I just ordered another 10 whole chickens!”
“Ellexcent birds! We only eat grass-fed -grass-finished meat products from reliable sources. My daughter and I get stomach aches from chicken. Even if the local source said "yes, it is Pature raised" (they are also sketchy with the supplement fed ...nobody seems to know what it is)we know and from the reaction from our bodies. These birds do not make us sick to our stomachs and taste amazing. The only time I have had such nice chicken was when I lived in France and the quality was great.
