Too bad I have to write bad review. Unfortunately, my order arrived 4 days late and all spoiled, because the label didn’t have detailed address, even though the correct address was provided. Luckily I’ve decided to pay $1.95 for an insurance and got my refund. Still the amount of food that had to be disposed, because it was not consumable, makes me feel certain type of way. :/// I give it 2 stars for prompt response to my situation. However, if you not on the west coast, don’t even bother to order. Search for local delivery. Lesson learnt.

I don’t know what to think because the two day shipping I paid for didn’t work. It showed up 5 days later at 70°. I’m sure it’s fed Ex’s fault but pasture bird said they can’t help me. Now I’m out all that money, have no food, and nobody will help me get refunded

I had been buying Pasture Bird chicken breast at Sprouts and it was so good I decided to order direct chicken wings and a whole chicken. It arrived frozen and well packaged, but unfortunately the wings were so tough when I cooked them I couldn’t even eat them. I cook chicken wings all the time so it wasn’t the cooking process. So disappointing…I really thought I finally found a great natural healthier product. Bummer.

The chicken is good and delivery is good. However, I am unable to access my account and manage my subscription. I find that unacceptable. (I was supposed to have been emailed a link to complete my registration but a link never came)

Not super happy with my first order. Wings arrived with the seal opened and one package was not even closed, just opened to the air. CS told me they were refunding it even though it "wasn't their policy to refund for broken seals". The refund was only for $10 not $16 that I paid. It is concerning that they don't routinely refund for broken seals on food. Seems like a safety issue. Also, the chicken breasts I ordered didn't match the weight and quantity shown on the website. Overall, I won't be ordering again, this was not a good first order experience and told me a lot about the company in general.

This is not daniel, this is his sister cheryl. Daniel sometimes buys chicken for me as a gift but this time I'm buying some for myself. My chicken was shipped last Monday and it arrived this Monday, some of it was defrosted and there was chicken blood leaking out of it. Ick.

This was mot the best experience. My delivery was delayed for 7 days, therfore it sat on a truck for 5 days more than it should of. I sent an email & Meredith advised she was sorry to hear the delivery was delayed but rest assured it was packed wirh plenty of dry ice. When I recieved the box today there NO dry ice only an insulted box. I've sent an email however I have not heard from anyone. I will wait 24 hours with hopes someone reaches out. The picture attached show the thawed chicken I recieved & the juices inside the packaging. Look forward to having a conversation with someone. Regards Tracy

I was very disappointed that, 1) when I contacted Pasturebird via email and the website requesting a way to call or receive a call, I was not granted this, 2) when the chicken was delivered a few days late, there was no dry ice left and the outside was beginning to thaw 3) that it didn't appear the insulation was recyclable or compostable like other companies I use 4) that my first breasts were slightly freezer burned from being re-frozen after late delivery

Quality of meat is decent. Packaging is terrible, so far, most are compromised.

Not worth the price. Lots of cartilage to trim off. When cooked to internal temp of 165, chicken still had a gummy bite to it. Won’t buy again.

We purchased a one time order of 2 whole chickens, 4 packs of thighs and 4 packs of drumsticks. We marinated and grilled the thighs which turned out dry. We cooked 1 whole chicken by rotisserie in our air fryer and it came out semi dry too. We are very experienced grill BBQ’ers and with rotisserie cooking also, our chicken always comes out moist and flavorful. We are sadly very disappointed with this purchase.

Ordered twice and both times there were technical difficulties. The chicken was good but the cost of the chicken is too high to stress about proper delivery. It was a 500 order. I should have Received An apology and perhaps a discount on the next order or a free chicken leg for the inconvenience.

I love your chicken, but you seem to have problems with your delivery. I've ordered from you I think 3 or 4 times. The first delivery didn't come for a week after its delivery date and a new order was created and came a week later. The second order (and 3rd if I made 4 orders) came as expected. No problems. My most recent order hadn't come, again for a week or so after its delivery date. I called, and a new order came quite quickly, however I am concerned about it because there was no dry ice in the box. I was really exhausted when I put the chicken in the freezer, so I really don't remember if it was frozen or not. I only noticed the absence of the dry ice 4 hours later, so when I checked the chicken it was frozen. I am concerned because even though the box came quite quickly, 3 days with no ice could be dangerous. I don't know if it is safe to eat it. Please contact me about this.

So far I’ve only tried the Boneless Breast, they looked and tasted like what I can get at any grocery store. Hoping the rest has better flavor.

im really upset because when i bought the chicken for the first time, i didnt notice that i was subscribe to buy the chicken every 2 weeks, i thought the subscription was for the advertisement or maybe some specials that you may have. i did not agree to buy the order the second time. even i let you know do not use my credit card, still you used a third time. im happy with the product, i really like it, but i want to buy the chicken on my own. there is no phone number for me to call you, just the answering machine with no option to leave a message.

The box arrived smashed up there was no ice of any kind just chicken packages in some cooler foam that was not fully intact due to box smashed up. There were 4 packages the the vacuum seal was broken. A better way of protecting the meat is needed and I would be concerned ordering during the warm months with how it was currently shipped.

I want this to be a success so badly. But I’ve never received a package that isn’t damaged inside. Open chicken literally every single time. I’m so sad because the chicken that remains sealed is so good.

This is my first order from Pasturebird. Some of the legs were deformed or broken. See picture here of a deformed leg which is just a nub growing out of the thigh. On another package of drumsticks a leg came broken. I used to encounter this situation in grocery store chicken but I never thought it should happen in pasture raised chicken. Very unsettling. Also, the amount of fat on these chickens is almost comparable to grocery store chicken. Usually pasture raised chickens are leaner because they get more exercise. And the bones are softer than other pasture raised chickens I’ve had, which probably means they had a much shorter life and had less time to deposit nutrients. Also, my order was shipped out almost a week after I placed it. I don’t think I will order again from Pasturebird.

The chicken was never delivered to my Mom - I had to reach out to understand why - once I did - the customer service rep was very helpful but would have been nice to receive a head’s up that there were delivery issues… Will be trying again - so hopefully will have a better rating to share in the future
