“Pickstar did its job and provided the service as expected, but we unfortunately chose the wrong person to promote our brand. As a result, the promotion didn’t have the desired impact, and we saw only a small increase in followers. Looking back, a different choice of promoter likely would have produced better results”

“The process to request, select and book a speaker was so easy, such a great concept. The 'star' we selected attended our event and was very generous with their time - answering questions on stage, engaging with attendees, taking photos etc. They were a really great fit with the event and the audience.”

“We found working with Gemma Houghton and her Team a delight and she was a standout on the day of our event. Thanks Gemma. Only 4 stars left as after initially booking via email, the online chat was problematic and not as helpful as it was intended to be. Direct contact via email or online meetings would be far more beneficial, especially once the management team and star have been signed up. Having an email alerting me to a message left on Pickstar for my booking may assist this program. Meg”

“Pickstar was initially confusing to use. I wasn’t sure how to set up my video greeting. But, perhaps I was just having a “senior moment” 🤷‍♀️. I did get it happening relatively easily. I received the video within two days which was great. I was just a tiny bit disappointed that my “greeter” did not make reference to the information I had supplied re an essay my son had written about said greeter 27 years ago! However, he did wish my son a very happy birthday and I’m sure he will like it on the day”
