They sell and promote events but do not clearly disclose actual performance start times, which is basic information customers need to make an informed decision.
In our case, doors opened at 7pm and standard ticket holders had to be in by 9pm, so any reasonable person would assume the main act would start shortly after. We arrived at 8pm only to later find out the main performance was not scheduled until 1am.
After spending five hours at the venue, with children at home, we had to leave before the main act even started.
This could have been avoided with one clear line at the point of sale stating the performance start time. Instead, customers are pushed in early, which gives the impression that maximising food and beverage spend is prioritised over transparency.
When raised with Platinumlist, there was no accountability or understanding.
If you are selling tickets, you have a responsibility to clearly state what customers are actually buying and how long they are expected to wait. Based on this experience, I would be very cautious about purchasing through Platinumlist again.”

“I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Platinumlist after booking three tickets for an event. The tickets were quite expensive, and I opted for the Refund Guarantee to ensure some peace of mind in case of unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a poor decision.
I was unable to attend the event due to a family emergency—my mother fell seriously ill and had to be admitted to the hospital. Naturally, I expected the Refund Guarantee to cover this, but to my surprise, my refund request was denied. Upon further investigation, I discovered that their policy requires all refund documentation to be submitted within an unreasonable timeframe of only three days from the event. This is completely impractical during emergencies, and what makes it worse is that this critical condition is buried in the fine print of the Refund Guarantee agreement, instead of being clearly highlighted at the very beginning.
As a customer, I believe such crucial information should be transparent and prominently displayed upfront. Most people don’t have the time or habit to read through lengthy terms and conditions, and this feels like a deliberate attempt to make the refund process unnecessarily difficult.
In my opinion, purchasing the Refund Guarantee is a complete waste of money. Unless you are 100% certain you can attend the event, I would strongly advise against dealing with Platinumlist. My experience has left me feeling frustrated and misled, and I cannot recommend their services to anyone.”
“The worst experience ever in the entertainment market of Dubai.
In my case, they sold four tickets to the activity (Black Pearl Sightseeing Cruise with unlimited pizza), which was never going to happen. I bought the tickets one day before the event for a specific time (close to sunset), which costs more than usual hours. I received the tickets, then a strange guy called me the same day, said the activity is not going to happen tomorrow, and offered to switch the tickets to another day and time (which was not convenient for me and was also a downgrade to the ones I paid for). When I said this would not work and demanded a refund, they said "okay". Simply "okay" by phone, and no email confirming that the refund would be processed followed.
To be on the safe side, I tried to contact the support team asking them to either confirm that the activity would be arranged (as per my tickets) or send me an express confirmation that it would be refunded.
Instead of addressing my concern, they were more worried about my name (although I bombarded them with the tax invoice and the tickets they issued with all the details sufficient to respond to the customer) instead of simply addressing the issue.
They did not tell me anything clear before the day of the event.
They did not tell me anything in the morning on the day of the event despite my reminders.
Naturally, when you do not have any feedback or clarity, the only way is to go to the possible event to avoid any possible accusations that the customer skipped the event.
I paid a lot of money for a taxi to get there, and only shortly before the possible event (yes, it was NOT in their schedule - the crew was surprised to see me close to their vessel) did they send me their "SORRY" and promise the refund. Only then the refund letter was sent to me - still awaiting the transfer on my account, which I hope they will honor.
It is indeed amazing how careless they are about their customers. I will definitely avoid this service in the future and will not recommend it to any of my friends.”
