“The worst experience ever in the entertainment market of Dubai.
In my case, they sold four tickets to the activity (Black Pearl Sightseeing Cruise with unlimited pizza), which was never going to happen. I bought the tickets one day before the event for a specific time (close to sunset), which costs more than usual hours. I received the tickets, then a strange guy called me the same day, said the activity is not going to happen tomorrow, and offered to switch the tickets to another day and time (which was not convenient for me and was also a downgrade to the ones I paid for). When I said this would not work and demanded a refund, they said "okay". Simply "okay" by phone, and no email confirming that the refund would be processed followed.
To be on the safe side, I tried to contact the support team asking them to either confirm that the activity would be arranged (as per my tickets) or send me an express confirmation that it would be refunded.
Instead of addressing my concern, they were more worried about my name (although I bombarded them with the tax invoice and the tickets they issued with all the details sufficient to respond to the customer) instead of simply addressing the issue.
They did not tell me anything clear before the day of the event.
They did not tell me anything in the morning on the day of the event despite my reminders.
Naturally, when you do not have any feedback or clarity, the only way is to go to the possible event to avoid any possible accusations that the customer skipped the event.
I paid a lot of money for a taxi to get there, and only shortly before the possible event (yes, it was NOT in their schedule - the crew was surprised to see me close to their vessel) did they send me their "SORRY" and promise the refund. Only then the refund letter was sent to me - still awaiting the transfer on my account, which I hope they will honor.
It is indeed amazing how careless they are about their customers. I will definitely avoid this service in the future and will not recommend it to any of my friends.”

It is unfortunate that they almost have a monopoly for UAE concerts and show ticket purchases as we end up with no choice but to give in to their inefficient response levels. I bought a ticket from Platinumlist early to avoid potential price increases, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get a visa to Dubai. When I reached out to explain my situation and request a refund, they refused to offer any help, citing their rigid terms and conditions. I understand policies exist for a reason, but given that this was an exceptional situation outside of my control, a more flexible approach would have been appreciated.
It’s disappointing that Platinumlist puts profits over customer care and doesn’t consider the genuine difficulties some customers might face.
