This watch was bought as a Christmas present in 2024. In April it failed to wind and was sent for repair under guarantee. One moth later it was returned' repaired'. No paperwork was returned with the watch. It looked as though the complete movement had been replaced as the watch face was different to the one that had been sent. Unfortunatley, the watch had obviously not been tested as it was now gaining approximatley 10 minutes every hour making it unfit for purpose. On the 15th May 2025 it was once again returned under guarantee. Four weeks later it was returned repaired, this time with a repair docket, (535/23). It is now July and the winding mechanism has failed making the watch useless again.
To have a mechanical device fail three times within seven months seems unreasonable. I am reluctant to pay the postage and returne the watch yet again for repair as I have no faith in the repairers Harrison Brothers and Howson Ltd, 119 The Chase, LONDON the designated repairers for the guarantee.”
