“I received my watch a few days after ordering it and initially I was delighted with the engraving and the watch itself but to my dismay it didn't work and had to send it away to be repaired so I'm still waiting for it to be repaired and returned, I would've thought that the watch would be checked prior to being despatched, so all in all not happy.”
“The outer case is marked and the chain has knots in it in places where it looks like the colour process was rushed and not permitted to set in a straight line. The watch itself is fine but the rest requires replacement.”
“I have had my new pocket for just two weeks, Most days it stops working, I wind it very carefully according to instructions, on occasions when it does not stop altogether it loses four hours in 24 hours. It is the worst purchase I have ever made, the watch is useless and a complete waste of £225.00. I will not waste a further £7.95 to send it back but I will buy nothing more from the Pocket watch company and it puts me off completely to buy online anymore, it is in complete disappointment just expensive rubbish.”
“The pocket watch looks very attractive, cost £225.00 , most of the time it doesn't go, when it does go it loses 2/3minutes in 24 hours but it does not work for 24 hours very often. Very disappointed, I feel I have just bought very poor quality product and I am not prepared to pay another £7.95 to send it back , however, I will never buy anything from this company again, completely puts me off buying on-line.”
“After purchasing (Inc engraving) I found the exact same watch on multiple sites for less than half of what I paid. Extremely disappointed that I've been conned out of so much money. Lesson learned - shop around.
Hopefully my words will save someone the disappointment I've had.”
“The pocket watch is brilliant and special looking - exactly what I was looking to wear for my wedding day next year........however, the clasp that forms part of the chain that comes with the watch does not fit the watch. Highs and lows.......great looking watch, great looking chain, really poor fitting clasp. I had to buy another clasp to replace the poor-fitting one. What a shame.”
