“Wonderful shop with wonderful staff. All sorts of interesting produce (vegetables, eggs, bread and cheeses) not just meat! and brilliantly helpful with cooking sugestions. The most tasty sausages and smoked back bacon too. Thank you team Salter & King and especially the King”

“Excellent produce with real provenance along with impeccable service. Would recommend Salter & King to anyone looking for quality and great tasting produce as a regular supplier of good meats. Also a "hats off" to those Suffolk farmers who to many, go unnoticed ! Unable to review Hogget shoulder as not had yet, that said upon delivery it looked amazing and can't wait to slow cook for special occasion.”

“I have only recently started using Salter & King and I have to say everything I have bought has been top quality and their Chuck steak is fantastic for making smash burgers! There was a slight issue with my last order due to the bank holiday but Will sorted it out straight away without any fuss. Great locally sourced meat. A credit to Suffolk and Suffolk farmers.”

“The best ham we have ever tasted! Had a buffet lunch for a group of friends and the first thing to disappear from the table was the ham. Sliced it thinly with my meat slicer and it was seriously delicious. The porchetta is still in my freezer waiting for the Aga to be relit in the autumn.”

“I confess I’ve only used the beef mince so far (the rest of my meat box is in the freezer. But it’s made a really amazing ragu with a great depth of flavour. I’m now planning to use the dripping (not eaten it since I was a kid, on white bread with salt, to made some pastry. Cannot wait to work my way through the rest of the box contents..”
