“This was my second delivery. Sadly, the code for the complementary sausages from my first order didn't work. Having opened my chicken thighs today, the use by date, I'm concerned by the smell. Will try cooking but feeling slightly anxious. I was pleased with my first order and the ethos of the company. ****Following a call from Gerard, I've received a credit for the chicken thighs. Greatly appreciate the response to my feedback. Customer service at its finest. ****”

“Delivery was delayed due to breakdown of van. Goods were delivered promptly the following day and were much appreciated by the recipient. kind regards Pat Redmond”

“Very easy to navigate the website and purchase the meat. Good follow up re the order and courier info. Notified when the delivery was to occur however the courier went to the wrong house, photographed the next doors porch and then delivered to the next street. After numerous calls snd much effort the courier came back, collected it from the next street and then finally two hours later delivered the very wet parcel to us. So not the best shopping experience.”

“I can't give you a full review as unfortunately the delivery, due 19th Dec, actually arrived near the end of the day on the 22nd. The box was damaged and at lkeast one of the packs had been damaged as there was blood seeping into thesurrounding cool bag. I had to throw everything into the fast freezer I have and hope I've stopped further contamination. I did sort out the chopped rabbit”

“Dear Gerard The Porchetta Joint that we purchased for Easter ended up being kept for a visit by family members, this last weekend. It was cooked in our AGA, totally in accordance with your written instructions. It proved to be totally delicious and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who were present at the table. The small amount that was left proved to be equally good; This was eaten cold, but accompanied by hot vegetables in a side dish. The only criticism - (even resorting to use of a small gas torch on a piece of the separated skin first removed from the joint) - we failed to produce good Crackliing. Most certainly, we will attempt to resolve this shortcoming on a future occasion. We thank You sincerely for providing such good 'fayre'. Our Best Wishes Patrick & Marian Cannell”

“Absolutely DELICIOUS leg of lamb thank you. Just a small hiccup when I came to pick it up - although it was in the order book, it had not been put aside for me . No harm done as there was one just the right size in the window!”

“The lamb is amazing and has a wonderful flavour. I’ve deducted a star because this is the third time my order has been messed up at the delivery collect charging end. So 5 stars for meat.”
