“Meat was excellent but server could have been more welcoming”

“It was great, I hadn't eaten mutton for many years and decided I'd rather eat an older animal that has has a good, long, natural life. I also thought that rather than search for recipies from all over the world I'd look back to our uk food history. I remembered mutton from years ago & ordered here. The company were very helpful & delivered exactly when I wanted, the meat was absolutely gorgeous and I will be eating more. I can't think why this lovely food product has been overlooked. I'm going to eat more now before resteraunts find it and the price goes up!!”

“Ordered two ‘best end’ racks of lamb. This was my first order with Salter & King and as it was for a special occasion, I was a little concerned about ordering online from them. I shouldn’t have worried as they were some of the best online meat products I have ever bought - I use online butchers often. The meat had a great colour, the chops were a good size and beautifully butchered. They tasted fantastic. I have also ordered a leg of lamb but have not eaten that yet, but again great colour and I am sure it will be great eating. I will definitely be ordering lamb from them again in the future.”

“Great swift delivery service. Ordered a wide selection of meat and amazing quality so far with pork belly and beef shin - took salter&kings advice and made a beef rendang curry that was delicious”

“Very easy to navigate the website and purchase the meat. Good follow up re the order and courier info. Notified when the delivery was to occur however the courier went to the wrong house, photographed the next doors porch and then delivered to the next street. After numerous calls snd much effort the courier came back, collected it from the next street and then finally two hours later delivered the very wet parcel to us. So not the best shopping experience.”

“We are annual visitors to Aldeburgh and regularly purchase from Salter and King when in the area. We already know the high quality that we can expect and had no hesitation in ordering online. The experience online was extremely easy and the meat arrived in perfect condition, freezer packs were still frozen. Thank you very much.”

“Easy to order, reliable delivery and the meat is excellent quality. I ordered the hogget for a family lunch and everyone was really impressed with how soft and flavourful it was. Ox cheeck was excdellent too and great value.”

“I had an incredible experience at Salter & King Butchers! I picked up 6 chicken breasts, 2 wild rabbits, and 6 lamb chops, and everything was absolutely top-notch. The meat was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cut, and you can tell they take real pride in sourcing quality products”

“The meat was of a very high standard. The Cockerel is just simply amazing and is much better tasting than a Turkey. Very juicy and extremely tender. The beef had a real depth of flavour which conveyed how they had been reared. Although my son did overcook it!. Gammon was divine, not overly salty or smoky but just right also very tender. The pigs in blankets (I made myself with your sausages and bacon) were the best our guests (14 of them) had ever had I made a hundred but was not enough for them as were so delicious they kept wanting more. Combing the best of bacon and the best quality of sausages is obviously the secret. Thank you for your service and the timely fashion for delivery. Carry on the good work.”

“Amazing butchers, we stumbled upon this butchers while staying in Suffolk, since that day they have never disappointed us. We have purchased all sorts of meat and it is always delicious. We just had our first Christmas delivery from them and again the meats were amazing. The delivery service is spot on, will only be buying our meat from them in the future.”

“Ordered the Turkey Crown and Pigs in Blankets for Christmas Day. The Turkey was absolutely delicious so lean and moist not dry at all. The Pigs in Blankets were also delicious and accompanied the Turkey perfectly. Will definitely be ordering again from Salter and King so lucky to have this butchers on our doorstep.”
