“Delighted! We have already eaten venison tourtière pie, , and a family dinner with the haunch was pronounced perfect, so tender. Next bbq will enjoy the sausages, and a venison in red wine casserole is next. Will be ordering again, great service, contact and delivery. Many thanks, from all the family.”

“After my second order with Salter & King, I felt that I really had to leave a review (apologies for not doing it sooner!). Shopping experience overall has been flawless - easy to navigate website, clear visibility of what's in stock, very quick delivery, great communication. But the main reason for my review is the quality of the produce which has been nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL, with each and every item. The 'staples' (sausages, burgers, bacon etc.) are honestly as good as I've had anywhere - you can literally taste the difference in quality - but the more 'speciality' items go even further. The porchetta (which was the initial reason for my first order) was one of the nicest pieces of pork I've ever cooked. I was equally impressed with the rack of lamb, the short ribs, the leg of lamb... the list goes on. I very rarely write reviews for this kind of thing but felt that the overall quality - both of produce & of service - really needed to be called out. I cannot recommend Salter & King highly enough- - as soon as my fridge & freezer have room, I'll be making my next order!”

“The order arrived safely and very well packaged. We've eaten the Hogget and mince and both meats were delicious, first time having Hogget and it didn't disappoint. I will definitely buy again. Can't comment on the chops or burgers as we've frozen them, awaiting some BBQ weather but I'm sure they'll be delicious.”

“The hogget was utterly delicious, and the sausages sent to make for the hogget being a bit smaller than ordered were too, thank you. My first order from Salter & King but it won't be my last, great service and stunning, flavoursome meat, excellent all round”

“Cracking butchers selling locally sourced food, nicley presented and the service is always polite and chatty. In many ways, its like an old fashioned, good to honest butchers just like shops used to be. And they run the world famous Aldeburgh marmalade contest in February each year.....I think you need to be a very good customer to win!”

“Gerald and his team are just the best. My go to favourites are the beer cured bacon, Aldeburgh sausages and Aldeburghers. The steaks are always great too. Cannot recommend highly enough.”

“One of the best if not the best butcher in the area. You can actually taste the quality of the meat products, so flavoursome. It's all down to the local farms the meat comes from and how the animals are reared and looked after. A good range of different meats to choose from for family meals through the week and normally have items that go well on any BBQ. Pop in and give them a try if you have not done so yet you won't be disappointed.”

“Salter & King is a pleasure. Staff super friendly and welcoming. All products artistically displayed. Makes one’s mouth water. We did a sausage tasting Toulouse v Italian spice. They were both good in different ways yum. Trying lamb koftas today good time for a bbq. Roll on sunshine”
