“The dress was fine but it did not fit correctly and the style was not as expected. I contacted customer service about a return. I am then told that returns must be made to China AND that not only would I have to pay for shipping, which is acceptable, I would only be refunded 70% plus any customs fees. This is where I have a problem, the return policy does not state any of this on their website. They offer a $20 refund on a $150 dress that I cannot use. I have no problem with paying for shipping or having a percentage deducted but the mystery custom fee amount is dishonest and the customer service is terrible. They will respond but they will say the same things in broken english over and over no matter what question you ask. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Find a website that at least has a return policy that tells you what to expect.”

“We ordered a dress and it didn’t fit, so we decided to order a custom measured dress which costs even MORE. Wanted to compare the two dresses. Even with that, they would not accept a return on the first dress as we were 3 days past the return date. They have a WAY too short return policy. I could see if we didn’t order another dress, but I actually spent MORE money to get a custom measured dress. Not willing to keep customers I guess, so this customer is GONE!!!”

“I ordered a $177.00 Mother of the Bride dress that looked gorgeous online. As a professional sewer of 47 years, I had no issues with the directions for the measurements. I sent my precise measurements in and waited several weeks to receive the dress. What I got looked nothing like the photos. The cut was different, the fit was just meh. Horribly unflattering. The fabric was not the quality portrayed in the photos. What's worse, though, is that the design of the drape around the front shoulders and neckline was totally lopsided. It was also much different than in the photos. Much shorter and the arms and front neckline looked totally different. It looked like something a teenager would sew. Super poor quality. The real disappointment, though, was the fact that the large rhinestone embellishment on the waistline was GLUED TO THE DRESS—NOT SEWN ON. So cheap! I had planned to remove this piece and cannot. Then, when I sent feedback it was ignored. When I followed up, this is what they said: "Hello, So sorry to hear that. I'm so sorry to have upset you. We will improve all our work. I will provide a big discount code for your next order. Hope you can understand all. Many thanks" Seriously? They honestly think I would waste another dollar with this company? By the way, you are not dealing with an American company. They are from China, which ordinarily I don't mind—but your options for recourse if and when they mess up your order are ZERO. So I'm not sure about all these good reviews, but my experience was awful. I had to find a different dress with very little time before the wedding. Huge waste of time, money, and I'm very disappointed. Avoid this company.”

“I would not order from here! I ordered multiples dresses for my bridesmaids to try on and stacees even emailed me to confirm this once i had ordered. Upon receiving some (not all of them arrived!) of the dresses I decided I did not like them and initiated a return the same day. They state all over their website 14 day returns however I have not been allowed to return my dresses and we are now a couple months down the road! They have been going back and forth with me on email offering me ridiculous low sums instead of providing me with return details and a refund. Apparently to get a full refund the items need to be faulty, they will only refund so much on non faulty items. I have sent the dispute to my credit card company as this is diabolical and am now down hundreds of pounds and stuck with many dresses i do not want. Please do not buy from here they are shipped from china and they will not let you return if you do not like them.”

“UPDATE 5/17/26: After initially posting a negative review, the company did investigate my claim that I had requested a return within the required timeframe. They ultimately confirmed that I did meet their policy requirements, blaming their customer service staff, and issued a refund accordingly, which I do appreciate that they finally honored their return policy. That said, I have since received multiple messages asking me to remove my original review. I have only stated that I would update it, which I am doing here. If you are confident in sizing, the dresses themselves are nice and reasonably priced. However, if an item does not fit, be aware that return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility and can cost $60 to $100 to send the product back to China. Based on my overall experience, I would not recommend this vendor. Requesting or incentivizing the removal of negative reviews raises concerns, and having no independent Google reviews while directing feedback to their own website feels questionable. ORIGINAL REVIEW 4/14/26: I ordered two gowns from this vendor with the intention of keeping one, which is common practice when deciding on fit and style. Both dresses arrived, and while the gown itself was beautiful and fit well, my experience with the company was extremely disappointing. Their policy states a 14‑day return window. I attempted to contact the vendor multiple times within that window to initiate a return, but was unable to get a response. I finally reached them four days after the return window ended, at which point they refused to honor the return, despite my documented attempts to contact them earlier. What I found most troubling was that instead of addressing the issue fairly, I was offered $10 to leave a positive review. This felt inappropriate and undermined my trust in the company. Interestingly, they will you $5 off a dress to purchase, but are buying positive reviews. The product itself was good, but customer service and ethical business practices matter. Based on this experience, I would not purchase from this vendor again.”

“I am more than happy with the dresses that we have gotten from Stacees. We have ordered three different custom dresses and all of them have been beautiful and well-made and fit perfectly. They have arrived extremely quickly and customer service has been excellent. I can’t say enough about Stacees. We are coming back for every event and will continue to use Stacees in the future. Oh, and the prices are fantastic. I cannot believe we are getting dresses that are this well-made and beautiful for these prices. It actually blows my mind and every time I tell somebody about Stacees, they are just amazed at how reasonably priced they are. And my daughter gets compliment after compliment about how beautiful the dresses are.”

“Refused return despite product not matching website images I ordered bridesmaid dresses from Stacees which were advertised as a champagne colour with a matte, structured appearance. When the dresses arrived, the colour was noticeably peach-toned and the fabric was shiny satin, which looked very different from the images shown on the website. The fit and structure around the waist also sat quite differently from the product photos. I contacted customer service and provided comparison photos of the dresses received versus the website images. Unfortunately, the responses repeatedly referred to their 14-day return policy rather than addressing the concern that the product does not match how it was advertised. Despite explaining that this is an issue of the item being not as described, and asking for a return or exchange, the company refused and instead offered discount codes or suggested purchasing another dress. I appreciate that companies have policies, but when a product differs materially from the images used to sell it, I would expect the issue to be reviewed fairly rather than dismissed due to a time window. I have now had to raise the matter with my card provider as a dispute for goods not as described. I would still welcome the opportunity to resolve this directly with the company.”

“We were late getting the order to Stacee’s. We told them that our granddaughter was going to the Night To Shine prom given by Tim Tebo. They were right on it and had the most beautiful dress ready for our granddaughter Sydney a couple of weeks earlier than expected. We will continue ordering from Stacees for every Night To Shine prom. Here is a picture of Sydney in the red carpet.”

“When I ordered my first item from Stacees, I was honestly quite satisfied. So, when I needed more items for a different occasion, I decided to order two more from Stacees. Unfortunately, this second order turned into a nightmare. The quality was very poor, and although the sales department assured me I could return the items, the process was awful. They kept offering unacceptable “deals” just to avoid taking the items back, and the whole ordeal dragged on for far too long. I do not recommend dealing with this company — try to avoid it at all costs. Anna”

“Don't every purchase from Stacees! They absolutely refuse to accept returns even if you meet all criteria. I purchased a wedding dress - the sizing was totally wrong and the fabric is not what it appeared to be on the website. I have sent 5 emails begging for a return address and they refuse to send it. I wish I had read their reviews before supporting them.”
