My daughter opened a membership, with 2 ‘free’ cards. Ten days later £50 membership fee was taken from her account. In touch notes Ts and Cs they talk about the right to a membership fee, but do not mention how much. I myself have been a member for several years without problem and have paid an the additional fee to keep my credits valid. However, I recently had problems with my log in details and the response of TouchNote was totally unhelpful. I know have credit on my account which I am unable to access. BE VERY CAREFUL when entering any agreement with this company.

DON'T JOIN, cancellation is almost impossible and free trial is fake. The android app failed to allow me to cancel my trial membership and only 3 months in has the presented me with an email address which you have to email to cancel. But you have to click through several screens with buttons they try to hide, while trying to force to you keep your membership or upgrade even, and this for an app that's not even worth it in the first place. The most disgraceful dark, dark user interface and user experience patterns I've seen in a long time. I've been charged nearly £40 for membership during this period of trying to unsuccessfully cancel. I emailed them to cancel and explained that it was impossible to cancel via the app until too late and they have refused to refund the money they stole from my account while I was trying to unsuccessfully cancel.

The app is buggy and ends up sending someone else's card and greeting to your friends / family. They totally ruined our Christmas card plans last month - wish we hadn't used them. Also, don't enter your credit card information because there is no way to delete the information once entered into the app.

I cancelled my subscription through Apple subscription and then twice through the app. They keep charging me without authorization. Also the product they sent during my trial period was very poor quality so for $70 of charges I can't get them to stop, I ended up with one lousy 10 cent postcard.

I can only imagine you did not manage to opt-out before your trial period expired. Please note Touchnote's membership is a physical product subscription and cannot be managed through Apple subscriptions. You can manage/cancel right through the mobile app. Rest assured, we always try to be as transparent as possible. Ditto to what others have said about being charged without authorization. I sent several emails to their main office explaining that I discontinued the app and removed it from my phone over a year ago, and was randomly charged, which I did not authorize. Looking over my email history, it showed that they charged me three without notifying me prior. I communicated with an Ivana there, and three times she glossed over over the facts and denied me a refund.

I went to my TouchNote account to cancel my membership. After clicking on “ cancel my membership” there was a message that said “sorry to see you go” I thought I was all set until I was charged a month later. So I went back to my account again and realized that even though I was told sorry to see you go that I also was expected to send a email requesting that my membership be canceled. Pretty underhanded the way they go about it!!!

This is a scam company!!! Do not iar it. I was meant to pay 0.01£ and they automatically charged me a yearly subscription of 39,99£. They do not have a contact phone number, only an email. Trying to fix the issue with the bank, although low chances of getting then to refund my payment.

I have had an extremely frustrating experience with TouchNote. This was my first month of membership and one of my two cards never arrived. It was supposedly resent and an agent assured me it would arrive last week. Still nothing. There was an issue processing my debit card to purchase additional cards (my bank assured me it was with their system since the transaction didn't even appear for them) which I had to talk to three separate agents to try to resolve. I waited for my membership to renew on the 30th so I could send out a few important birthday cards since I wasn't able to purchase them separately only to find that my renewal date was pushed back from the 30th to the 1st and then the 2nd. I just checked my account and now I apparently have no premium membership...no email saying there was an issue processing my payment. I am very disappointed and frustrated and was relying on this service to help keep in touch with friends and family while living abroad.

Touchnote just wiped out 25 credits I had paid for. Watch these people - they are tricky... I won't say I was swindled as that would be technically wrong no doubt, as I am sure they hide (sorry provide) their cancellation policy in their regularly revised 'small print'. Trouble is - this is not obvious when you buy. So after I had bought credits (always open ended purchases, after all I had paid for them - they have my money) they introduced a 'premium' membership. Really just a way to get you to spend monthly... I signed up for this for the free six months on offer as they said the credits I held (which I have been buying in advance for years btw) would be lost if I didn't. So today I find the 25 credits have gone. It's all over, like a bad affair. Don't go near these people. What was at the beginning a great business and service is now a shell of its former self. PS they will say they warned me my credits would go. but they made this policy up after purchase. Why not offer me a refund you might ask? No. there will be lots of people like me. They'd much rather keep the money. Tricky people these.

Do NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. ok I used the app for a year on my android phone whilst I was abroad and was happy with it. I had left over credits which I thought I could use on my next holiday. Then they introduce a date limit for your credits to be used by, but that expired my credits before my next holiday. So that was money down the pan. If they want to start a date limit it should have applied to new credits sold, not existing ones, so you knew what you were buying. I then bought some more credits for my holiday. Tried to use to send cards, but found the app no longer worked on my phone which is the only bit of kit I travel with. Seems they no longer supported my version of android. But they refuse to give me a refund Just keep quoting a 14 day refund period. I didn't go on holiday and found their app was useless within that 14 days. Duh.. Totally unacceptable.

If you wish to send a "one-off" card then Touchnote may be for you. It is not particularly cheap but it works well, particularly if you are overseas. But - and you have been warned - never subscribe to a park of cards. Why?, because TouchNote encourage you to buy more through a discount scheme and the cards have an absolute life of 12 months. Unlike other organisations that "restart the clock" as you use the product, TouchNote simply removes any unused credits from your account. Yes, I accept that you could be on top of this but if like many you take one annual holiday a year, you are likely to find that they expire before you get a chance to use them and do not expect any good customer service from TouchNote. I for one will never use them again. Their customer service is truly the very worst I have ever experienced. They are rude and totally disinterested in helping Customers. If you proceed I hope you are not let down as I was. My advice there are far better companies on-line who like to build a true customer experience and offer similar products.

Had an email for two free postcards so after a lot of faffing about with various email addresses finally managed to get signed in and create cards for grandparents (on holiday, on tiny screen on phone, at night). App was very jittery and kept asking me to add more photos all the time so was signing in and out all the time. When it finally did the postcard I just wanted it send and pressed the paypal button. Little did I know, that was a sign up to a 12 month subscription at £39.99 14 days down the line. Being on holiday, wasn't checking emails, just happy that cards had been sent. Coming home you don 't trawl through loads of old emails for cards you have sent, do you? 14 days later, on the dot, got an email from paypal to say I had been charged £39.99! Contacted company and like everyone else says (there are a lot of negative reviews), got what seemed to be a scripted response telling me I'm not getting my money back. Currently looking into reporting to trading standards.

I should have read the other reviews before trying out the trial cards. I was not too thrilled about the process and not seeing the cards being sent, the clumsy app, etc. Forgetting to cancel during the trial period, I notified them immediately on the day the charge was applied to my card for the annual membership to tell them I did not want it. I have received nothing but ‘sorry, too late’. I am not even sure whether the person replying is a human because the answers are the same each time. I asked to speak with their superior and the answer was the same. Absolutely horrible customer service, I have never seen anything like this. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! I would have given ‘no stars’ but that was not an option.

SCAM _ BEWARE Do not use this service. The company charges your credit card without authorization and the customer service rep, ANA, is rude and refused to refund the unauthorized charges. In addition, she refused to put me in contact with a supervisor and told me not to correspond again. Here is her response: I am very sorry you continue to be unhappy. Whilst we never wish for a user to be left disappointed I fear that I must now draw this correspondence to a close as I will be unable to provide you with the outcome you hope for. This matter will not be escalated as my decision is final. Kind regards, Ana Customer Support Specialist Executive Office
