“WebWed performed my online ceremony today and I was beyond happy with the entire process. The officiant JC, is so passionate about us as clients and you won’t find that kind of love with anyone else. I was nervous about this and didn’t think it was real but it’s 100% legit. WebWed is the real deal.”
“WebWed's customer service was top notch! JC brings such great energy to your virtual wedding experience and even though it's a short ceremony (which I love!) it's so thoughtful, clever, and was perfect for my husband and I. Thank you WebWed team!
This is the future of getting married, especially with our current COVID-19 challenges.”
“Great experience for me and my husband.
We were supposed to have a ceremony in person, however, due to COVID we had a change of plans. Although this was not how I imagined my wedding, WEBWED made it so special for us. JC made this such a memorable day that I’ll never forget.
Sending a special thank you from the Philippines!”
“Do not count on webwed for weddings where some guests will be viewing remotely. You can imagine the disappointment of the many friends and family who could not attend the wedding due to covid restrictions, who were counting on the promise by webwed of remote availability for viewing the ceremony. Customer service was rude and not willing to answer a single question. How heartless to be willing to ruin such a special day for so many. Steer clear!”
GM,
We do apologize for your experience. We send clear instructions to the bride and groom. You paid for a $1.00 self-service streaming. So this was not a package or a direct handsone service through webwed. This nonclient paid for a free (1.00 ) SELF SERVICE STREAMING)
“How horrible! No one could log in on a computer or a phone and when customer service was called-a message said they would get back to us in 24 hours. At least 20 of us missed the entire ceremony, including the grooms mother who is home bound. What aweful service.”

RE: PAID 1.00 FOR A SELF SERVICE FREE STREAM ( NOT A WEBWED CLIENT / EVENT OR WEDDING )
We are sorry for your experience but this is not an webwed client or wedding. The wedding planner paid $1.00 for self-service stream of their own wedding. We had nothing to do with this. Therefore any frustration or reviews should be directed to the host or event planner.
Your big day is very special. For our clients that want us to facilitate their special day, we have numerous packages. The package you selected was for "Self Service", it is your responsibility to manage your custom event and your guests. We sent you a clear email on how self-service works, that email has continually been ignored. We've been bombarded with calls from your guests and have gotten disrespected. We've been nothing but respectful to every guest that we've spoken to. Even though, the package that you paid for was for your own use. Which is why it's titled, self-service. Self Service is similar to Facebook streaming, it is used at your leisure. The "Special Moment" package comes with a tech support advisor that helps every step of the way. You paid for a $1 self-service stream. We've explained the option that you paid for earlier today to your Wedding Planner. Your guests didn't adhere to the Self Service instructions, "PLEASE READ AND DO NOT GO INTO THE EVENT UNTIL WEDDING DATE/ REGISTER FOR THE EVENT PRIOR TO EVENT". Being that people didn't follow proper instructions and the short amount of time left before your ceremony. She went ahead and paid $1, which caused even more confusion for your guests. Because again, they didn't adhere to the instructions. We are not to blame for a large amount of confusion on your special day.
For any questions or concerns, please see below- we have resent the self service instructions.
Thanks,
WEBWED
“Fantastic service which I only found out existed by chance. My fiancé and I had been separated for 8 months due to covid and I hope to be reunited with my now husband in a few weeks! Excellent customer service and speedy responses throughout! Thank you!”
GM, Stephanie, we have no problem answering business-related questions during normal business hours. You emailed at 2 am for a full hour, then posted this review. Asking questions about divorce. We don't do divorces and this is not a law firm and we can not give you legal advice. After, telling you the office is closed and we don't give legal advice nor do we handle divorces. You emailed three more times asking the same questions tonight. You were married in August 2020 and you cancel your ceremony three times. We even gave you free marriage education. Then you email almost three most later asking for a divorce at 2am. As aforementioned we informed you that the office was closed and we don't handle divorces and can't give legal advice. Even though continue to email after that we gave you a legal resource and informed you if you had questions as it relates to marriage we would be happy to help you during normal business hours. This review is simply untrue and she has left this same review on several pages this morning. We value you as a customer and we believe in love and marriage. As stated before praying for you and your partner. But leaving an untrue review is just not acceptable behavior.
“What amazing people! We were nervous working with them because we didn't know how legit they were but they are amazing! My (now husband) and I are both non-Americans but they helped us with everything. We set a date and got married legally through the app. We are just elated because we have been separated for 10 months due to covid and can now finally be together again. I highly HIGHLY recommend them!”
“These people did a wonderful job with everything! My now huspand resides in England & due to COVID 19 we’ve been stuck waiting to be married for a long time. My huspand came across webwed by a advert. We’re so sooooo ecstatic this was legit and they did everything so quick! Super easy process! They always were quick to reply when we had questions etc. I can’t thank them enough for doing this! (: I highly recommend them”
“Thank you so so much, the ceremony was absolutly beautiful. Instructions of how to preform each step were clear, and every question we had was answered quickly. It was a real pleasure to use your services, you are true proffesionals. Everything was perfect.”
“It was really awesome. The process is pretty simple and Jc was the highlight of the actual wedding. I was afraid it would b super akward and too straight forward but she found the sweetest words and made it as special as it could be. Thanks again”
“International couples there are extra charges not stated till you pay initial costs upfront eg. court fees and change of address fees. The costs for a online wedding apart from legally being married are way to high. If you don't download wedding on day of marriage you get a negative response requesting video be sent to you and still waiting 18 days later. Very slow in returning messages and negative attitude and leaves a bad experience. Only positive was being legally married.”
“Rick & Bernadette
I am from the US my fiancee is from the Philippines. We were going to be married in may but covid 19 prevented my return. Web wed was such a blessing for us. JC was so friendly a sweet and the ceremony went great.”
“My fiancée and I were planning to get married in sept.
She is an Italian citizen I am a US citizen.
Because of the coronavirus she could not come to the US, unless she had family here.
And I could not go to Italy, After some research on the internet I found WebWed. I was a little skeptical but after
Looking into to it we decided to go for it.
Within a week we were legally married and she is now in the US with me.
The fact is, it is a very ingenious system that works.
Despite our anxiety about the whole situation we were reassured that everything would be OK, and it was .
Not your conventional wedding, but it was kind of fun.
Thank You WebWed, Greg & Cristina.”
“My now husband (all thanks to WebWed!) and I are from two different countries and have been separated for months because of COVID. We were planning to get married this year and thanks to WebWed we were actually able to make it happen. Even better, I now am able to get a visa and will reunite with my husband very soon!
The service is official and quick and the owners are very lovely and kind.
I am giving 3 stars due to some logistical and technical issues. I want to leave some constructive criticism and tips for those also considering using WebWeb. Overall I am very grateful. Here are the issues I found and ways I think WebWed could improve the virtual marriage experience.
1. The WebWedMobile app and "Event Creator" is pointless, confusing, and misleading. I would love to see WebWed create a simple "select and book your service" type option directly on the website. Where you can pay for what you need and see their scheduling and availability on a calendar. Instead, you have to download the app, create an event, and select your service options to pay. You are then directed to upload documents and information into the app. Turns out, some of the documents it asks for are not necessary and the app didn't even allow me to upload things and was not working properly. It really stressed me out. It also turns out that the date and time you select when creating the event are not guaranteed until they check their schedule and confirm. So my advice, ignore the app. Just use it to pay and then follow the instructions you will get via email. CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER!! A lot of unnecessary stress was cause because their emails were in my spam. It would be nice for WebWed to advise people to add their contact email on the website as a disclaimer to avoid this.
2. Hidden costs. I paid an additional unexpected $130. $70 fee to the court for the license (this is avoidable), $50 for a virtual appointment with the court clerk because there was a problem with the online portal application for the marriage license and it could not verify my identity (they compare your passport or ID photo to a current selfie photo to verify your identity, my passport photo is really old and looks way different than how I currently look), and $10 to make an updated change on the marriage license to correct my husbands international address. You have to input a domestic (US) address on the online application and then have it corrected to the international address after. WebWed paid for this to be corrected the first time, however the correction they made was still not correct and I need to make a second correction. WebWed could list all the potential hidden costs so people are not surprised. Compared to a traditional wedding, this service is cheap, however, for my current situation, I was really stretching my money to make this possible and these hidden costs were not taken lightly.
3. The ceremony. You will use an app for the video ceremony. It turns out the app can not handle a lot of people. I was not advised on how many people to have on the video for the ceremony. Part of why I chose WebWed is because I thought it would be the ideal way to have all of our family join the ceremony. So, I invited about 20 people to join the video call and it was a mess. In fact, I could not see my Husband, or the officiant's video feed the entire ceremony and my dad almost missed everything because he could not get into the app. WedWed records the ceremony on their end and then sends it when it's over. I was counting on this to send to my family that could not attend and to actually see my husbands reactions. Well, I am not in the recorded video from WebWed's end at all. This was very disappointing. So, I would advise WebWed to either find a better video platform OR to tell their clients to only have a couple additional people join. I would say 4-6 video feeds MAX! I will say that even though I couldn't see, the ceremony was still an incredibly touching moment that I will never forget and JC did a great job officiating.
My gratitude to WebWed and to anyone considering, go for it. Take my tips and you can have a great experience. Everything is legal and official.”
“We have purchased the package of
“International/Non U.S. Marriage” & “24-48 Hr Rush” & “30
