“Bought the Kaitlyn colourwork beanie knitting kit as a present for a novice knitter - poor packaging and no picture of the particular hat I had bought the wool for (hedgerow colours) was included - picture on pattern only shows a completely different colour scheme. Very dissapointed with that - the present - getter will have no clue as to what her finished item will look like and - more importantly for a novice knitter - if her knitting /colour mixing is going well. Surely it wouldn't be too difficult for the pattern to show a picture all colour (2?) schemes”

“Ordered 12/5/2020 still nothing and when I contacted them the last line was hope you receive it. Second email not even answered. Disputing charge with credit card!”

“I have sent 2 emails and got no confirmation of anything. I got no confirmation that my item was shipped. I can not say anything about the interim because it has not been received and I have had no communication from yarn vibes”

“I am sure your yarn is beautiful. But, I don’t know because I never received my order. If the order was dispatched, I never received notification of that. I know there have been shipping delays due to COVID. Where is my order? Not receiving it is my reason for the poor rating. How can I rate something never received!”

“What a disappointment! I ordered sport weight yarn and this yarn is so rough, stiff and incredibly scratchy. I had asked if it were suitable for weaving and was told it was perfect for this, well, it does not pass the pull test. I don’t think it will hold up against warping. The colors are lovely and I had planned to weave a plaid shawl. The spinning is also very erratic. $150- down the drain!”

“I don't think I'll be ordering off Yarn Vibes. I've tried contacting them a few times with a question about their yarn, and I never got a response. They are quick to respond to compliments on social media, though.”

“My yarn colour was not as advertised on the website and I haven’t heard back yet from my request to return or replace it for a more suitable item. I also wonder why shipping is free to the US and I have to pay over the odds for postage when I live in the same county??”
