“Awful carrier , avoid avoid avoid
After 10 days waiting for my parcel which meant to be delivered on 26th of October, I was told the recipient store refused some parcels because he ran out of space and my parcel was returned to the sender, ridiculous customer service, no one answered the phone, chat service is just wasting time”
“every time when delivery is by yodel - it is nightmare. Yodel never deliver the day that is shown on tracking, you have usually wait some days after their established delivery day. Yodel couriers never deliver straight to address, just leave the parcel outside where it can be stolen easy, or just are lying about the delivery attempt but no one was at home, though you are at home waiting and tracking.”

“SO BAD. 1st my parcel was extremely delayed (10 days), tried once to deliver and never again. Second, they said they would sent me a follow up email twice, never happened. Customer service didn’t expedite anything, and gave me false promises.”

“One stop shop in Earlsdon, Coventry - Yodel related complain. Manager was extremely rude showing me to the door when I tried to drop off 1 m water ong parcel. I was treated as a criminal bridging the rules. Apparently it's very random which Yodel shop will take this size, even it's below 1m 20cm.
Manager was forcing me out of his shop without any particular reason, without any apologies. He added that Yodel bag they have is smaller that my box (it was approx. 65 cm high, but he couldn't give me the number. Also while insisting on me leaving the store, he said that the Yodel bag is full and they are not taking any more parcel today.
I found this experience terrible. No advice given.What a customer service! I spent only a minute in the shop.No apologies, no advise given apart from telling me to "go online".
Previously I had to visit this shop 4 times (as each time I was advised to come next day) for receiving a parcel which was marked as a "ready for collection". It was a driver's or a warehouse fault. Phone call assistance can be useful, but not always gives the result.

“Delivery driver left two very heavy packages right outside somebody else’s door on the ground floor. I am on the first floor which is 10 stairs up and I am a 19 year old disabled girl. It’s just utter laziness from delivery drivers. He didn’t even buzz the buzzer either. I’m lucky the people in my block aren’t thief’s and that I went downstairs to check my letterbox otherwise I wouldn’t have seen them outside.”
“Yodel have had my parcel for a week now, I have tried to contact them but their chatbot is clearly just a screen glitch. The final insult is the email from eBay saying my parcel is out for delivery when it clearly isn't. Why tell lies?”

I won’t go into the lengthy details but honestly, if you are buying from a seller or business I’d check first if they use Yodel, and if they do I’d buy elsewhere or ask them to use a different courier…”
