Now I can't speak to longevity of this product, but it offers a fast set-up and holds other birdbaths besides what is listed in the product description. I'm using it to hold a 19.25-inch-wide heated birdbath that's easily 30 yrs old. It's similar to the Allied brand heated birdbath, which, for years, I tried quite unsuccessfully to attach to a traditional pottery birdbath pedestal. Not sure why I never thought of finding a metal stand, but so glad I did!! I'm very happy with this so far, and the cyber week price was excellent!
