I was looking at the photos I took of the bottom of the lift and noticed that nothing goes beyond the bottom of the lift. I thinking that if somehow the bottom of the lift scaped the bottom while going down a slope with the rv the slide could be damaged, hypothetically could a piece of stainless steel be welded to the bottom of the lift acting as a skid plate and at the same time strengthening both sides of the slide channel. Just a thought. I am always looking at different angles.
