I like that unlike lead tape, it's non-toxic and doesn't need to be covered over with protective tape.
This particular brand is very flexible, so you can easily apply it along curves without difficulty.
The lower weight per inch allows for more precise customization to enhance paddle attributes without significantly increasing swing weight (unless desired).
Tungsten is more expensive than lead. I think the price is mostly in line with other similar products .
