I wanted a new handle for my Yoshikane Hakata as it has a sweet smokey grey finish on the blade and these handles just dropped into the shop. I contacted James about the depth of the drilled-out hole and was given the measurements very quickly. Order placed, order received in a flash. Removed old handle and cleaned up the tang, tested the fit for the new one and it was reassuringly snug, just a tiny bit of filing as the tang was wider than most. Glued and inserted without the worry of leaning left or right or up and down, easiest one I have done so far.
