“All Desert shadow products leave your hair in amazing condition, this has great grey coverage or used as a based for other darker colours. It is a good in between for highlights on greys.”
“I have been using this hair dye for over a year now and love it. Covers my greys and is subtle but still bright. Leaves my hair feeling soft afterwards. It does leave a smell for a few days afterwards but it’s tolerable. Unlike other hair dyes, it doesn’t leak colour when your hair is wet again shorty after.”
“I have a LOT of grey in my hair (probably 60-70%) and I got great coverage with the Honey Shadow without doing any extra prep, bearing in mind that I don't use much product in my hair so there wasn't much of a barrier to stop the colour from penetrating the hair shaft. The grey sections are like gold highlights whereas the darker sections have became a warm brown. I have purchased another two packs of this colour and look forward to the colour deepening with each application. The only drawback is the smell, it takes quite a few washes to fade away but it's a small price to pay overall.”
“This is a lovely, deep colour. It also conditions beautifully. Highly recommend when you don’t want to use chemicals. You do need to spend the extra time to cover the greys.”

“I bought this product to cover my greys.. It doesn't do the job. The packaging says the dye covers grey hair but it doesn't. I followed the instructions correctly.
Don't recommend this product for grey hair coverage.
But after using the product felt my hair was healthy. Unless you use this indigo colour as a treatment I wouldn't recommend it as a grey coverage.”
