“The staff were super friendly and helped out a lot once I had my bike.
If the bike is out of stock or you’re looking for a particular size, there need to be more options for the customer. I think it is a bit rough to charge the customer a transfer fee from one store to another—I think it was roughly $160—when I can purchase it online myself and get it delivered to that store for free.
I purchased a BMC Urs 2, which is a great bike. It was a display bike from over east. I personally think that if you are purchasing a display bike, the store needs to make sure the bike looks brand new when it is handed over to the customer.
When I picked up my bike, all the ties had dirt on them. The chain and cassette also had particles of sand. Would a good wipe-down have been too much to ask.
The staff were very accommodating to my needs. I don’t think a customer should have to ask for this.
I know this sounds negative, but once I received my bike, it was a good experience.
Cheers to the team at 99 Bikes O’Connor, WA.”
