Other companies offer FREE memebrship/subscription, and the discounts are well worth it.
Basically, you’re paying $5 to subscribe to their newsletters???

All bike shops offer discounts, it’s like the motor industry, you never pay full price in a bike shop.

“99 bikes regularly sent me prompts to repay the $5 membership which has again happened in this case I assumed it must have been a yearly fee as they continuously asked for a another joining fee only to find out that it's a lifetime membership I'm unsure why they haven't bothered to refund or contact me regarding this. My most recent order a pair of fox pants and knee guards never arrived at the store for click and collect and the company never bothered to contact me at all regarding this. When customer service tried to talk to the store about it they called me back and said they couldn't believe the attitude of the members in this shop. I would definitely not recommend 99 bikes.. not only have they got barely any stock they have barely any idea how to operate a retail business and provide any style of customer service.”
