“The lock serves it's purpose well, it's easy to lock and unlock, it's sturdy and wraps around a good portion of the bike frame and security posts/poles with length to spare. Only thing that was a downside is that the male counterpart to the twist-lock mount is made of really weak/brittle plastic, it should be made of some metal alloy for further security.
I have to now carry the lock in my bag because I have no faith in the mount.”
“Really liking the security of this lock, the cable itself feels very strong. Very useful that it comes with a holder to attach to the bike. The cable is very curly though”
“The barrel failed to catch after about 2-3 weeks of fairly casual use. I returned it and was given a replacement - hopefully this one fares better. The customer assistant seemed unwilling to replace it at first an suggested that it was the result of brute force usage - not attributing blame (he said, although I did point out I was the user and that I had been using the same key on the same lock of my front door for the last 13 years with no issues).”
“Difficult to pass through the bike without marking or damaging the bikes painted surfaces.
Maybe not being coiled so tightly would alleviate the problem.
It’s good at being a lock but needs to address the overall user experience as stated.”
