“The barrel failed to catch after about 2-3 weeks of fairly casual use. I returned it and was given a replacement - hopefully this one fares better. The customer assistant seemed unwilling to replace it at first an suggested that it was the result of brute force usage - not attributing blame (he said, although I did point out I was the user and that I had been using the same key on the same lock of my front door for the last 13 years with no issues).”
“Difficult to pass through the bike without marking or damaging the bikes painted surfaces.
Maybe not being coiled so tightly would alleviate the problem.
It’s good at being a lock but needs to address the overall user experience as stated.”

If we're away from home i can put this lock through both bikes and the carrier and leave them on the car, knowing they'll be there in the morning. A very strong locking system and thick 12mm cable.
