Shift Sleeper Sofa Reviews

It's the sleeper sofa that works the day and night shift with equal grace. First things first: Shift makes for a stylish, supportive couch that can fit just about anywhere, because this is Burrow, and so of course it comes in easy-to-manage boxes that you can fit up steep stairs and through narrow doors. But it really shines when you have guests: the seat unfolds to make a genuine queen-sized sleep surface, and the arm cushion inserts can be removed and slipped into standard pillowcases, saving space in your linen closet. With Shift, you're truly be the host with the most.

Perfect is hard to achieve, but this sofa checks a whole lot of must-haves. Good looks, comfortable sofa, comfortable bed, easy (really easy) assembly and affordable. My son is now thinking of buying one for his home office.

We were looking for a pullout without uncomfortable (and heavy) springs and went for the Shift. The color is great and fabric is mostly cat claw-resistant, and the couch size is awesome. We can fit 4 people at a time which is a win in our book. We especially love the sleeper sofa unfolded—great for guests but also for comfier movie nights. Folded up, it’s a decent sofa, but lacks good edge support.

Love the sofa. It was easy to assemble. Love the green color. Looks great in our living room. We enjoy opening it up to watch TV. The back pillows are quite puffy, I take them off when I lie down on the couch. Plan to buy another one for our vacation home this winter.

The color is great but the seats are a little too firm. The assembly was more complicated more complicated than expected or was told.

Love the color and comfort of this sleeper sofa! My husband and I assembled it in about an hour and a half. It was relatively easy to put together but the different parts could have been labeled more clearly. Otherwise, it's an excellent, stylish, and very comfortable sleeper sofa. I love it!

I was looking for a sleeper sofa option that would fit into a small office space, and the Shift looked like it would do the job. The Shift Sleeper came in several manageable boxes that easily made it around a narrow staircase turn. The sofa itself was relatively easy to assemble - a few of the bolts didn’t line up exactly with the pre-drilled holes (hence the one-star deduction), but everything fit together well enough to feel sturdy. The couch itself is a beautiful color (got it in Moss), and sits firm when in couch mode. We’ve also slept on a few times since getting it, and it sleeps slightly firm & supportive - very comfortable as a bed! Sheets are kind of difficult to get tucked into the back corners, but it’s not too bad - love that true queen sheets can be used. I’m curious to see if the seat cushion sags after a few more months of use but so far, this has been great as an occasional couch in an office that is used sporadically for guests as a sleeper.

Overall very happy with this sleeper sofa! Negatives are that the fabric on the couch is a bit scratchy, it is a stiff couch (because it is also the bed), and the bed is better suited for one guest. Positives are that it was straightforward to build, it’s an aesthetically cute couch, and the bed is comfortable!

Couch arrives in parcels that were easy to get upstairs and the couch was easy to assemble. It's ver comfy as a couch and bed. The sleeper part is truly a genuine queen! We love it.
