“Sierra Chart is a very fast, stable and highly configurable charting and trading platform. It has a steep learning curve but there are many, many helpful Youtube videos and articles in their support forum. Their support reacts very fast and when you need a fix for a specific problem they deliver a solution within a very short timeframe. I'm in the IT business and I never saw a software company which reacts that fast to their customers!!!”
“I did have a lot of help from my trading mentor went first setting up Sierra Chart, I do feel I would have struggled without them, however that said it is a joy to use, very responsive and straightforward, I love being able to execute straight off my VWAP chart
Having simulator mode is also incredibly useful for testing out various strategies”
“Sierra charts is an amazing tool extremely customizable but if you're not a very sophisticated Trader the platform is extremely extremely confusing and there is no Live Support there are tools I've tried to add and still are tools and I just don't understand how to add them and I don't feel like rummaging through random support tickets to try and figure it out so all in all it's a great platform but not very user friendly.”
“SC is remarkable in its depth of adjustability and adaptabilty. You can dream up something and if it isn't already canned in the program, you can create it on your screen, in not much time, and without any real programming knowledge. That being said, it has a learning curve, that should be respected. However, now simply putting your query in Google, its AI will parse SC's 1,000 pages of documentation and pop out answers much faster than they could be found two years ago.”
