“Smart and efficient heater. We have followed all instructions about using at full temp to burn off any residue on the"coals/logs". However we can detect a slight smell of gas. We had regulator checked by calor agent. We are hoping the "smell" will eventually disappear with use.”

“This is one of the best things I have ever bought. I couldn't afford to get my chimney lined and fitted with a fireplace for a real fire or get a gas/electric heater put in (without major disruption with new pipework etc.) so was looking for an alternative way to heat my very cold old Victorian house and with a nice cosy real flame effect as well if possible as it is so lovely to have this in the winter. I was looking online and came accross this heater (which I was bit dubious about at first as it was run by calor gas) but I shouldn't have worried at all. It is a fantastic heater and throws out so much heat and looks good too! There is a slight smell of calor gas when using it but nothing like it used to be in the old days and also you can move it around from room to room if needed so very portable and convenient for heating. 10/10 - thank you calor.”
