We are sorry to hear about the experience you have had with the product. The paint will burn from the trivet of the Foker FK3130 burner if you use a pot larger than the burner diameter. This will not allow the heat to escape, trapping it under the pot, creating excessive heat. It will also cause damage to the base of your pot if you have not adjusted the air intake correctly, and the flame is large, bushy and yellow. All this information is noted by the manufacturer in the instruction manual supplied with the appliance.

“Nice and simple to choose the product I wanted. No particular rush for them, but they arrived without delay, so very happy overall. One minor observation, the ordered items, 5 x regulators and a bag of hose clamps were packed loosley in a large box. None came to any harm, so can't really take a star off, but it slightly surprised me.”
