12 months on, I have no idea how you get away with selling these. It no longer lights completely and when it does it will flame up 3 or 4 times and it takes an age to light completely whilst in the mean time the room stinks of unburnt gas. So unsafe that you can't light it and leave the room the heater is in. I would love to know how long you test them for, I am ready to throw it away because it's not safe to sell on. What a rip off. DO NOT BUY UNSAFE!!!!

Unfortunately, we can not find on our system where this has been reported to us to allow us to rectify the problem. Ordered a Cadac pan on Friday 24th August. Paid extra for 2 day delivery as we were leaving for holiday on Friday 30th and wanted the pan with us. Yes, there was a bank Holiday on the Monday, but that still left plenty of time for delivery. Item was not delivered until after we had left on Friday. Very disappointing and a waste of '2 day postage'.

Thank you for your feedback. It is very important to us. You placed the order on Friday 23/08 at 17.05. This is after our 12pm cut-off time for same-day dispatch. As Monday 26/08 was a bank holiday, the order could not be dispatched until Tuesday 27/08. It was dispatched with Royal Mail on a tracked 48hr label and should have arrived Thursday 28/08. We have checked the tracking and can see it was delivered on the morning of Friday 29/08. We are sorry this was a day outside the 2-working day timeframe. We will refund the extra you paid for the 2-working day delivery back to you. We advise customers not to leave urgent orders until the last minute on a bank holiday weekend as the increase in parcel numbers and shorter delivery timeframe can leave Royal Mail a day behind schedule.

As far as my experience goes, this did not detect a substantial leak in my system. It is only useful for getting a gas quantity in the tank in my opinion. I phoned the supplier and Cadac for help but there was no one available to advise. The appliance appears to be well made however.

Our 3rd Provence heater arrived safely but would not work - pilot light won't stay. Had initially helpful advice from Calor person though itdid not solve the problem. We jave now been shunted to Sahara, the makers so we'll see what they say.....but we are one week in with no way of using the heater. Our previous Provence heaters have been good to look at, easy to use and relliable - lets hope the problems with this one are sorted quickly - or a replacement sent.

Not easy to use as flimsy back door has to be opened to turn gas on and off . My Cube was easy due to access flap on the top. Any ideas to improve this welcomed.

Thank you for your feedback. It is very important to us. All gas heaters must be turned off at source. The gas must be turned off at the regulator. When a heater is completely enclosed with a back door, the door would have to be opened each time to turn the regulator off.

Whilst I'm happy with my heater, I find it difficult to understand why I need to employ a registered gas fitter to attach the gas hose to the unit, and the regulator using a total of two jubilee clips to register my warranty, that service alone would cost more than the heater is worth. So since I've done it myself I'm now unable to have a warranty on my heater...I find that unusual and unfair. I'm very dissatisfied and my rating of poor demonstrates that.

Thank you for your feedback. It is very important to us. When registering the warranty for a commercial appliance, you would require the gas installers name and gas-safe number. When registering he warranty for a mobile heater, this is not required. you would complete that section of the warranty form with 'Not Applicable'

The pricing and delivery were very good and the item was as advertised, the to stars however were because the gas heaater was sold at a time when calor were not allowing suppiers to sell new gas cyclinders to customers. If you didnt already have a used cyclinder you could not buy one which means you cant use the heater....there was no warning when selling the heater or advice that you need to already have a cyclinder, so clearly extremely poor selling heaters that they then stop you from using. Amazing. Thankfully and by oure chance, within a week, calor have now lifted the ban if new sales, but that was chance. So, 2 stars for service and lack of amy customer respect for Calor Appliances as a company. Product is fine.

My new gas fire Belle chic was faulty, pilot light wouldn't stay lit I've sent it back on Tuesday as of yet haven't heard anything. Would appreciate an update as I need a fire asap Sally brain

I ordered the wrong appliance, and when I called up they said twas to late to get it back even though it was only 1 day after. Looks like I'm stuck with the blue flame heater rather than the caylitic heater I wanted. My own fault, just to expensive to return and re order.

Thank you for your feedback Adrian, it is very important to us. Once an order has been dispatched from us we are unable to recall the order back. If we are contacted prior to an order being dispatched an order can be changed with no issues. If you are not happy with your product you can of course return it back to us for an exchange or a refund within 30 days provided it has been unsued.

BBQ seems fine but the customer service was awful. No communication about the delivery at all and it was just bumped on the doorstep when I was at work and left there all day! Will not use them again.

The fire is good apart from when I turn it from 1 bar (low) to the off position, it stays lit. All the fires I have had before and my next-door neighbors go on to just the pilot light only. I have tried contacting customer support several times and they just keep saying this is normal???

Thank you for your feedback. It is very important to us. It is normal for new heaters to be turned to their lowest setting on the control valve of the heater. They are then turned off at the regulator

I love the heater and its thermostatic capability but, unfortunately the control panel on the top has already come out of its housing and we have found a pin in the bottom that has fallen out. I would welcome a replacement.

Well We've been with calor 38 years, when we first used them, the service was excellent, nowwe are putting up with a company, thats a useless shadow of its former self. Wait an Hour on the Telephone achieve nothing, Send Emails get NO REPLY, Make a Complaint to the CEO, its total disregarded. I can't change my LPG BULK SUPPLIER as my Tank installation does not comply with current HSE REGULATIONS. ITS LIKE NOTHING BUT POOR SERVICE AND TOTAL BLACKMAIL.

The delivery driver delivered to a post office about 3 miles away. My closest one is less than 1 mile away. I had to get a bus, which was irritating but not Calor's fault. I haven't used the torch because I can't buy propane gas anywhere. Apparently there is a national shortage of the canisters and you can only get gas if you've already got an empty can. Which possibly is partly Calor's fault. If I'd known this in advance I would not have bought it. Disappointing to have gone through all the faff and expense for a tool I don't know if I'll ever be able to use.

Whilst the stove itself is good you are miss selling it because no gas is available from calor for the product, when we contacted calor in Norwich they promised to phone back but didn't and the second call the girl told us we were lying and had misinterpreted the first sales person and they would only sell us gas if we found three empty bottles. Fortunately a local camping company is selling gas of a different make and they were very obliging. We shall not be dealing with Calor gas again and our main heating and hot water is provided by a LPG fuel to the boiler. Very disappointed with your after sales service.

Recently bought a room heater only to find that Calor distributors nationwide are not allowed to sell Calor gas to new customers.! Never mentioned on website at time of purchase. Most unhelpful Resolved by buying Flogas which is readily available.
