Went with my brother and we both loved it. Didn’t feel rushed, had plenty of time to just watch and take it all in. The guides explained things in a way that was easy to follow without being boring. Super memorable day.

Kaikōura was already on my must-see list but this trip made it unforgettable.

Took my parents who are visiting from overseas. They loved it, especially the mix of scenery and learning about the whales. The boat was comfortable, the crew friendly, and the whole thing felt smooth and well-organized. Seeing that huge whale breathe right in front of us was unreal.

Couldn’t believe how close we got to the sperm whale. Seeing that tail lift out of the water in real life was next-level. One of those moments you don’t forget.

I’d heard others say it’s underwhelming compared to boat trips elsewhere, and yeah you get a tail or two. But still, being out there, watching that tail slip in… special. Plus, they cancel bad days and refund fast instead of wasting time and money.

Done whale watch by boat twice. So worth the money… boats are big and very stable. Unless it’s a very rough sea you shouldn’t get seasick. No one ever puked on either trip I did.

Saw my first sperm whale in person and it was surreal. We spotted one whale, some dolphins, even seals hauled out on rocks. Yes, you only see the tail flop, but when it happens....jaw drop moment. Boat rocked a bit, so a heads-up: seasick meds help. Totally worth it for that brief magic.

Well organized tour. We were very Lucky to See a blue whale, a sperm whale, seals, Dolphins and King Albatros on One tour! Amazing! Due to rough weather condotions lot of people for seasick. Tipp: Buy anti-seasick at departure.
