“It is helpful as a pregnancy pillow, I took off the ends and only use the middle part for now. Maybe I’ll want the ends as I grow. It’s nice to have the option. I wish they had a feather option as that is what I prefer in pillows”

When you get to later pregnancy, it is lovely to lie on your side with the full c-shaped pillow behind your back and between your legs supporting the underside of your bump. “I am 24 weeks pregnant; I purchased this pillow about a month ago, and my sleep quality has greatly improved since. I also purchased a spare cover, very handy when the other one is in the wash. The zips to join all the parts are quite thin, so need to be used carefully, but this hasn't been an issue so far. The pillow is firm enough to support me well, and it leaves more than enough space for my partner to be comfortable in bed too! I will also use it to breastfeed, again, the firmness is perfect for that. Highly recommend!”

“I was rather skeptical about buying a pregnancy pillow at first as friends had advised not to as they ‘take up too much space’ or ‘are just the same as using a normal pillow.’ I also thought ‘this is an extra I just don’t need!’ But...after several weeks of difficultly sleeping due to intense hip pain (from 16 weeks) I was so pleased that my Mum had decided to order this as a gift for me. As soon as I got the New Moon 4-in-1, from the first night I used it, my hip pain was eased and I felt much more supported in my lower back too. I have to say as a trained dancer and regular Yogi, I didn’t expect these joint discomforts during pregnancy and I also thought they’d just go away by themselves but they didn’t. I’ve now been using my pillow nightly for 8 weeks and the difference in my joint pain and general comfort at night is incredible. Yes, the pillow is quite large, but I coil mine and tuck it under the bed when I’m not using it or just leave it near the head board, as it’s also a great head support for me and my husband when having our morning tea in bed! All of this doesn’t matter though really when you feel well rested - it makes your day feel so much brighter! I know these are bold claims, but honestly I really love it. It’s so nice when you can feel baby kicking at night too as it offers a little support for your partners arm and head (if you are using the main pillow round your back) when they want to put their hand on your belly too! If you don’t have a partner, using the pillow also feels a bit like being cuddled, which is also nice! I can imagine as I grow bigger it’ll be a more regular companion too as it’s been lovely for weekend naps and I’ve also tried it in multiple positions for when baby arrives and I can see it’s going to be very useful for nursing and as a ring support for baby with a pillow in the middle for maybe tummy time or relaxing. If you are on the fence, or have been looking at the more expensive brands with fanfare reviews, I’d just ignore them and go for the BellaMoon. The fabric is beautiful, the zip fastenings and covers etc are cleverly designed and the pillow itself offers comfy but firm full body support. I think the Nursing Nest for lying down feeling looks like an amazing product too, so am hoping to purchase that in the future. Another amazing thing about BellaMoon is that you can buy the products in a modular way and they just zip together and zip apart with ease so you can add to your collection or just buy the bits you need. Overall, I can’t fault my New Moon 4-in-1 and I think you’ll be glad you made the investment from day one of use! Good luck with your pregnancies everyone and treat yourself!”
