I'm new to biostrap, I've only had my device roughly a little over a week. I finally accumulated 5 days of sleep data to start getting some insights into my overall health, well-being, sleep and heart rate viability. I'm still learning how my workouts are logged, how my calorie burn is tracked and how all of that information is then correlated and calculated to give me a holistic view of my health and activity level. It will probably be a while before I have mastered the data and begin to use the information to better understand how my fitness and sleep effect my recovery and wellbeing, but hopefully in that time new updates and features will be made available and the app will become even more powerful. Looking forward to years of geeking out Nelson Fitness with Biostrap.

Offers simply the most data for my health and seems to be pretty accurate . It’s crazy how much deep sleep I’m not getting and how bad it truly is. I knew there was a reason I always woke up feeling tired. Great data for health. Simply the only wearable I wear now.

The thing is painful to wear because it has to be tight. The battery dies so fast it sometimes can’t make it through the night. The activity tracking is not very good or accurate, marked my leisurely stroll around a convention center as more intense activity than my actually intense circuit training session. No airplane mode is the deal breaker for me.

The information that you receive using Biostrap is fascinating and beyond any info the other activity trackers will give you. Because I have a heart condition I really had high hopes for this piece of equipment. I was prepared to have to wear a separate HR monitor whilst working out, but looked forward to the results after my work out using their app. Sadly this constantly disconnects from my phone. After reading all the self help solutions and contacting customer service the only solution that works (temporarily) is to turn off my phone completely and then turn it on again. That really is a frustrating waste of time. The battery time is lousy too, and I have to charge up the watch every single day at some point other wise it won't make it through the night. I'm on the fence right now about sending it back. Hoping there is a magic wand to make it work a lot better than it does now--giving it one more week and if there is no improvement back it goes.

I've been using this for little over a week now, so still a newbie. I think the strap is great. Tracks sleep patterns and steps really well. I do like the app. It's clean and easy to get to stuff. I love when it indicates that I didn't get enough rest and not to over work that day. My complaint would be about the workout tracker (doesn't do that very well). I also think that there should be way to be able to understand what we are seeing in the app rather then having to do independent research. For example, after a week, provide some level of basic analysis (especially since the sleep lab is a paid subscription). Overall I happy with it though.

I don’t know even where to begin. I received the biostrap last year for Christmas (2017). I was excited to be able to track my exercise and sleep patterns better. However I was never able to get the biostrap to “learn” any movement. You are supposed to be able to train different movements so it can then automatically recognize those movements. I tried step ups, lunges, squats and many more and everytime I received an error message That “it was too much like walking” to be able to save. It would never automatically recognize any movement. Also after just 3 months the cradle the foot clip fits into broke. I called the company for a replacement thinking it should still be under warranty and they should offer to send it to me free. No, I had to purchase a new one plus pay shipping and handling. The replacement broke only after using it 3 times. I was also hoping that the foot clip could be worn separately to keep track of steps, but it doesn’t work without the wristband. I can’t wear a wristband when I am at work because I am a massage therapist. Then comes the band —oh my such crap. It doesn’t have a latch. The band closes by a peg going into a hole in the band. However if you just accidentally brush your arm against you leg or anything else, it pulls the band off your wrist. I don’t know how many times I almost lost it while walking; working in the yard, etc. I gave it one star because I did like the sleep app information. I do not sleep well, so I want to see if this app could give me more insight into my problem. However the band would catch on something and came off most of the time when I slept. So after a while I gave up on this bioCRAP altogether any quit wearing it. I went back to my old Fitbit One. Do not buy!

Unbelievable total metrics. The unit basically told me to take it easy yesterday because my body was still recovering from an 8 hour drive. Heart rate and sleep metrics that are easy to understand and help you tailor your workouts to your optimal benefit. Good battery life and quick charge ups makes the unit readily accessible. I highly recommend.
